More damage for AA

So, i’ve played on flackpanzer with 20 mm autocannon few days ago. Infantymen, brrrrrr… This spacemarines or WAGHHHHH BOYZ can take 2-3 shots from 20 mm AA autocannon before dying. For example, PzB can oneshot a man ( or more) into leg from the distance about 100-150 metres.

So, i think, AA vehicles and AA emplacements need some damage buff against infantymen.

Well, it’s fully intentional artificial balance decision. Because according to some, AAs are way too OP.

I think it’s complete bullshit now, since we don’t have those quad cannons with shields. But whatever.

Completely agree, I mean they need to reload often and its not like they have added the ability for a second man to get on the gun to reload it faster.

Not to mention they have limited depression when shooting ground targets.

All combined with the fact people would need to build them first which is near impossible considering most of the playerbase doesnt have a single engineer in their lineup let alone an engineer squad.

they did on purpose this little nerf for avoid carnages with new people,however high br planes some of them are bit tanky even in critical areas

Well, the amount of damage that AA deals is quite alright, but they could fix that when you try to build an anti-tank gun or AA on a hill or cliff, you can build it without the game showing you that you can build there because of the surface area is inclaind . I mean, I literally tried building it on a flat surface without a single tuft of grass or even a tree around it.

Op meant vs infantry.

There’s no way anyone could survive even being just grazed by a 20mm shot or similar.

Even the Soviet milk truck, using a bigger canon, needs more than one shot (2 or 3) to take out someone, it’s ridiculous.

I really don’t think those 2 br1 vehicles are overpowered enough to warrant such a nerf…

AA vehicles/guns/tank auto cannons should pwn infantry…not good vs tanks. So should be great vs infantry (already good vs planes)

The developers put the most dangerous AA gun used militarily against infantry, and then weakened all AA guns because they got traumatized. It’s still that a good decision was made, that they no longer overheat and can shoot at infantry.

It’s the same with tanks, they added T-50 (2x machine guns) and T-28 (3x machine guns) to Moscow. And while these tanks were tearing infantry to pieces, they found a solution: reduced the damage of all tank machine guns. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The game is evolving, now, it is possible to place vehicles on the appropriate tier if they are too powerful, but some flawed decisions continue to this day.

If AA would be buffed against infantry- this would also potentially buff auto canon BR1 tank - which should be really strong against infantry anyways.

AA have very thin armor against most of tanks, any AT rifle can penetrate them easily. Or you can shot crew with firearm (or cut them with melee). They are not t-60 which have good frontal armor and covered under metal crew. They are more about glass cannon.

What is aerostat? You mean those barrage balloon or whatever they call? iirc Euthy said they are one of the most powerful object in game unless a plane shot it (it take like 10 HE-TF round from flak bus to destroy it iirc)

Best way to destroy aerostat is using USA AA truck with double 12.7 Browning MG. But you need additional slot for two tanks ( sometimes you need AA, but most of time simple tank/panzer will be more useful/versatile)

So the official weakened and destroyed most of the equipment and mechanisms that made this group cry.
Anti-aircraft guns are also one of them

Unless they don’t want to avoid it at all
Even if they lack equipment and abilities, they can obtain and use the corresponding equipment or deal with it skillfully in the next game or a few games later.

You can easily destroy this object by 20 rounds of 9mm pistol.
And still need 60 - 20mm HE.
