You would be one to know,

While planned as a fighter-bomber, Ho 229 only had a fighter frame ‘completed’, and in WT it’s only in the fighter configuration. We don’t know how it would have carried bombs (up to 1t), so it’s out.

For a jet bomber, Ar 234 would be a better pick.

:_: those bombs would not be even able kill a 1hp enemy and and im pretty sure that this loadout is literally the worst possible

f i g h t e r that’s how you spell attacker

this statement is funny by itself…

figther/attacker may have a similar meaning or a connection between but attacker is not spell as fighter

btw i was not even refferering to the plane role i was reffering to the tiny bombs it has

i just meant i picked it to be used as a BR1 fighter so the bombs are just gravy
also a joke base on Steven Kings the Stand m o o n that’s how you spell moon

IAR 79 is a medium-range heavy bomber; it’s too big to be used in enlisted.

We literally have a Ju 188, Tu-2 and A-20, all much bigger than the IAR.

IAR is a bomber, TU-2, Ju188, and A-20 are ground attack aircraft. but be my guest. Add a bomber in the game and get hated by the entire enlisted forum base for balance issues. I suggested B-26, and people were like No. just telling you based on my experiences with the forum base

S.M.79 B - War Thunder Wiki

Each of these is a medium bomber, my dude. And IAR’s the worst one of them all, with the smallest bomb load, weakest guns and lowest speed. The only thing going for it is 5 crew that can act as ersatz paratroopers.

And B-26 is not much better, the only problem I see with it is just buttload of defensive machine-guns and 7 dudes in the crew.

okay then. im not against adding it, im just saying others might disagree

The max squad size in the enlisted is 9 for just infantry. I honestly think they should make 9 max for all squad types. with basic rifleman, would make a fire fight a lot more intense like real life.

Yeah, but they won’t like 7 dudes dropping from the sky with SMG’s. Some already have complaints about paras.

These I like.

The sm 79 might be better same speed only 3 12mm gun 2 7mm guns and 1200 kg bomb load but three engines and six crew, as for the crew jumping out it closes the kamikaze loophole which I think is more hated.
