Not really. The thing I like about them is that since the IL is slow, you can actually spot your own targets for them. Or if oyu know the obvious spots where people always are then they work too.

Not really. ZH vs AVS is huge.
FG vs AVs/T is kinda small-mid. The FG is better of full auto, but AVS is effective at range and works perfectly fine on semi. I won’t deny that FG is a bit better, but AVS is a perfectly good gun. Just switch to semi and get good at rapidly spamming left click. i’d say the difference is more comparable to PPD38 vs PPSh41.
Moscow wise, you need a detpack or plane.
You don’t have good tanks. Not at anti-tank (or anti-T50 I should say, cause that’s most of all you see) anyway. And AT tank weapons… Well, they work agaisnt soem of the early stuff. Which you barely see. And GRB is hard to aim at range, to the point of you might as well stick with detpacks.
He should be. Spawn your starter T34 and get a better angle. or move oyur mouse around it’s mantlet till you see green.

Like 1 completely perfect angle. And turret is still weaker.
Meanwhile IS weakspots are a lot smaller and harder to hit. Seeing as it’s just one 2mm thin line across the lower glacis.

Only 8? The rd didn’t use rifle rounds? I didn’t know that… If that’s the case belt mg42 might be much more powerful (unless they add a lot of recoil to it)

IRL it used intermediate ammo (the same one as AK).
So unless devs will do some magic supported with glorious soviet engineering, it should do about as much damage as StG/MKb (so AR family).

I truly didn’t know. RD will still be fun to use I’m certain, but at least (I hope) ppl won’t complain it’s too op. Unless they turn it into a laser but at this point (and late lvl) meh. Belt fed mg42 should be really, reaaaally dangerous if it handles the same way as the 50 ammo one. Wonder if with large ammo bag we’ll be able to bring 400 rounds. Sounds crazy

They may make RPD overheat (when/if we get this mechanic) a lot less due to smaller rof and smaller bullet. Imo not bad tradeoff for less damage.

I’d see rd as… well, an AR. With intermediate cartridges it should (in theory) kick way less than other lmgs. Considering dp27 and dt29 are already really easy to control, I think the rd will be really stable… I’m kinda curious about this piece

So you don’t angle it. Doing so exposes weakspots. Neither in Enlisted nor in Warthunder.
