More ammo for semi-auto guns

plz

i play with semi-auto guns recently and from my point of view having 30bullets only to fight is really short.
Even with ammo box available. (i play agressive but without arty )

I known about about ammo pouch but i’m more interested by a smal back pack.

I would say having 50 ammos at start would be perfect.

Basically, the bolt action rifles are also have not too much ammo per soldeirs. I think its enough for them, cause if these soldiers are could run with tons of ammunation (without ammo pack) that could make palyers to shot more, and incraease survival chance.

Semi-auto rifles are have higher rate, thate cause they eat much more ammo via mouse button click-click and when you not hit target.

Beside, with that low amount of ammo, we gotta focus on not wasting ammo, and spend time to refill somehow/ or swap soldier.

  • Squads are not survive too long, so sometimes they not need much ammo. We kill as many enemies we can and die, and live again

I agree its too low, according to historical figures each rifleman carrys close to 80+ ammo for the Garand

It happened that I found myself without ammunition with bolt but rarely. here rate of fire is 4-5 faster than a bolt.
i’m agree with you concerning not having tons of ammo but historical loadout of a WW2 soldier would be great for example.

With large ammo pouches a g41 goes from 10/30 to 10/90 if I recall correctly. More than enough

Thx i didn’t find this!!

But then most people will take grenade pouch, no one will use ammo pouch anymore  I think some sort of tradeoff needs to stay.

I also agree that it should be made historical. If they carried that many, then give them that many.

On other side Germans historically have less ammo in the belt. 6x5 for Kar98 and 4x10 for Gw43. Some of them did carry additional ammo OFC, but I am talking about the belt pouches.

Someone would say this is not balanced. But game should not be symmetrical in every way.

For example, German hand grenades could and should be thrown further. Hmm, is this implemented? Never checked.

yep i’m agree but i I would like a good balance between fire power and survability

a small back pack could be very useful

It’s all in the gameplay style and performance.
You are aggressive and go full Rambo for kills ammo pouches are the way.
You are more passive, backpacks with grenades or heath packs.

Besides tankers, I rock full huge ammo pouches on everyone

That’s not for 20 minutes of fighting…

Small, correction.
Without ammo bag - 20
With small ammo bag - 30
With large ammo bag - 50

Imho, the 30 would be a good default amount, 20 is just too little.

i say get a small ammo pouch for the gewehr 43 guys and a small bag (meds) for the bolt action ones

you’re right but i don’t think having 2 clips of 10ammos more would break the balance

the gewehr seems alright thoguh an extra mag as a default would be good the gun that absolutely need one more clip is the M1 tbh

more it’s historical better it is from my point of view.
even if it’s only for one clip of ammos more of for that

i really dunno about german nade

i don’t go full rambo with troopers. MG and MP guns are better for that.
i like to go sneaky do some kills fall back and repeat this after with troopers
it’s more passive/agressive game play i would say

lol i can imagine this

This!!!

Could be a good compromise indeed.
i already have engineer of each squad with big back pack.
it could work

i’m 100% for the same treatment for all of course

I must check later on. Would belive g41 was 10/30 on normandy premium squad…

Full Ammo Pouch needs a buff. 100% is way too low to give up for 3 Medkits

3 Medkits is so much better
