Although I seem to remember that some units went to the Chinese front and not to the Pacific as such, I think obtaining the Mondragón 1908 could help balance the current situation in Japan

It’s not about equipment. US kept loosing back then while already having stuff like M2c.
Yeah pacific allies were unplayable for months even though they had an equipment advantage. It’s almost never about gear, just how the playerbase shifts.

non of the semi autos will balance anything. all sweats in every campaign spam smgs, assault rifles, auto rifles and greande launchers.
I was going to say that, I was complaining about both Hei extended magazine being BP weapons but realistically even if they are added to the tree, they wouldn’t balance things out because the main problem is that no one is playing Japan right now and that there are too many auto guns and grenade launchers(even if this is true for Japan too), and I see they mention high tier a lot but in all honesty I’ve seen well organized Japan teams steamroll whales using what we have in game so my point is that adding another semi-auto would be great but at the grand scheme of things the real problem is the lack of players and automatic guns spam

Hei is the best semi auto for long distance and pacific maps are big.
People have no idea what they are talking about
I really think that adding the M2 carbine in the Pacific was a mistake, I am currently fighting them in the Japanese army with type 38 and type hei, the type 4 rifle is not a competitor.
Only the late Type 100 SMG and Type 38 with grenade launcher can be used against the M2c.
