it means that modders can make heavier and bigger mods without being forced to limit their mods because of the size of the file
before, was 10 mb. which was okey, but for example if you wanted to use alot of objects and features, it was quite quick to reach if not exceed the limit. ( especially with custom navmesh. which are used to scan the whole modified map by modders, detect various objects placed, and then create small likes used for AIs to use and not stumble or get stucked in places ) which can be an heavy process in terms of size of the file.
and now, with this information, the limit size will be increased on the portal so we can have bigger mods and include more stuff basically

on the site there’s written that you are not able to upload larger files than 10 mb.
so, maybe they will fix the download issue ( hopefully )
but i don’t think enginya was referring to the issue of not able to download
It seems that 30MB files can be uploaded now, but files over 3072kb can’t be downloaded correctly in the client, and there will be an error message (the file size exceeds 3072kb blabla)

I answered only about download problem, considering it was called “size limit”. But after fixing download issue it will be possible to consider bigger mods too, if it will be allowed.

Its not only about the server limits though, a scene above 10 mbs will lagg heavily (unless you bake the entites) and after a certain size you simply won’t be able to even open the editor because it will crash
