Mini event for Budyonny's birthday

April 25 will be the birthday of one of the first marshals of the Soviet Union, the Full Cavalier of the Cross of St. George and St. George Medal, holder of eight orders of Lenin, a prominent Soviet military leader and commander, one of the creators of cavalry in the RSFSR and the USSR Semyon Mikhailovich Budyonny. In honor of his birthday I offer in advance a mini event in which you can get:

“Honorary firearm” Mauser S.96 with the Order of the Red Banner on the hilt and a nameplate on the body.Such were only 2 in the history of the RSFSR and the USSR. The second one was owned by Sergei Sergeyevich Kamenev.

Can relate to to that. Was jsut wondering why a general that only played a major role in 1941. Mayvbe the celebraton of the Soviet tank corps or the cavalry?

Because Budyonny’s birthday is already less than a week away, while the birthday of the Soviet cavalry is November 19, and the birthday of the Soviet tank forces is May 28. There is also the day of tanker, in the USSR it was celebrated first on September 11, and then since 1980 and later - on the second Sunday of September. So Budyonny’s birthday is the closest of all.
