Not all tanks come equipped with HE shells (for example, the Pz2C only comes with API-T)
CAS in war thunder can easily kill you no matter where you are. Even inside of a tunnel. I expect Enlisted CAS to reach similar levels of accuracy over time.
Tanks losing their tracks isnt really thàt much of an issue as they can be repaired pretty quickly. So how are you gonna time a random mine explosion (as it is a passive weapon, as you said, you have no control over it) with a CAS airstrike?
A team mate writes in the chat “yo that KV-1 lost it tracks bomb him now” , then you bomb the KV-1
Have you even tried CAS in Enlisted? Its nothing like in War Thunder, you are lucky to hit anything
I have in fact played enough with my plane squad to obtain a rear gunner for my stuka and almost max out the entire blue tech tree, with about 500 bomb kills. Their bombs are primarily weapons to take out choke points full of enemies for me, as I am not accurate enough to bomb a tank, no matter whether it moves or not. Leading a moving target, like a squad of soldiers, is easy enough though.
There is a thing called MG, it has 1000 rounds and you come with what? 50+ shells whic can be used and about CAS it wont reach WT accuracy if you have such luck there are those who don’t know how to change shells in tanks much less who know how to do simplest task.
The MG is not accurate enough, nor has enough ammo to spend it all on trying to snipe a mine 30+ meters out. Those MGs only come with 500 rounds, not 1000. Mind you, the crosshair is offset to match the main gun, not the MGs, so you do not have an accurate crosshair for the MGs.
Balance of a game should not be determined by people who “do not know how to do simplest task”.
The flight model and bombs of war thunder and enlisted are actually the exact same, the only diffrence is first person view vs third person view in war thunder realistic battles, so there is no reason that enlisted can not get people with similarly accurate bombs
Honestly whether you can shoot the mine or not matters very little as the tanks are blind half of the time and will never see said mine in the first place.
Infantry can spot them for the tank and deal with them, and i still dont see the issue of a tank not seeing the mines because there is still only a really small chance of it actually driving of top of the mine with its tracks, and even if it does it only temporarily immobilizes the tank.
at that point, what would be the use of this weapon other than being annoying? Mind you that there is a thing called “negativity bias”, where the party that has a negative experience is more annoyed than the party with the positive experience is happy, making the game less fun overal.
Because they can actually be useful if multiple people put the effort in mining a road, this is supposed to be a team game after all
And at that point the road does get entirely blocked, preventing tanks from getting out of their spawn, a point that was already made before.
all those years of playing War thunder sim has made my bombing nice and accurate luckily, however , sometimes a direct hit on a b-11 with the stuka still doesn’t destroy it, sometimes only knocking out the engine and driver instead of the entire vehicle
that’s completely unrelated to whether the vehicle was moving or not, though. That is only related to the fact that the stuka only has a 250kg bomb instead of 500kg
How excactly do you block a spawn with mines? If one person can carry 1 mine you’d need 10 people to sneak into the other side of the map, how?
There was never a mention of only being able to carry 1 mine per player. These mines would likely be in the equipment slots, allowing any soldier to carry up to 6 of them.
you have a squad of 7, perhaps having 4 with the ability to carry mines?. if you add mines, i’m sure they will add it to logistics too, and you will have a chance of unlocking more.
if they do add mines, they should despawn after your squad dies, otherwise the battlefield will be littered with them.
They weigh 7kg a piece, there should be a weight limit to what a soldier can carry, like in the first test people were running just fine with 2 PzB on their back
that’s an argument completely unrelated to the implementation of mines.
they have been implementing weight limits and changes,
add 3 tnt to your soldier, and see how slow he runs, snail speed.
doesnt prevent you from loading your soldiers up with gear, though
definitely doesn’t though, but does slow you down considerably .
