Mig-3 vs Me 109 additions in Moscow

Just… wow…

Mig has 3 guns - 12.7mm and 2 x 7.62mm - now the Soviet aircraft guns are very good guns - arguably the best of their calibers… but it is still a very light armament.

Me-109 F2 gets the 15mm cannon and 2 7.92 MG’s - so pretty comparable…

PLUS the 109 gets 4 x 50kg bombs… no bombs for the Mig - it might have had rockets - IIRC they got them fitted during the war… but like the fighters in Tunisia, a plane without ground ordnanace is just a waste of time for players.

If the MiG flies anything like it does in WT it’s going to fly as badly as the Pe-3 making it utterly worthless
I really hope thats not the case

Mig 3 more worst than Yak 1

Only consolation is that 50kg bombs are far less effective than they used to be…
Frankly I see those 2 planes as sidegrades, I’m not certain I’ll switch to either of them for both factions

There’s zero reason to add a Mig-3-15 with 12.7 + 2x 7.62mm’s when the campaign already has a Yak-1 which should fly rather similarly and has the 12.7mm replaced with a 20mm. And it carries two 50kg bombs.

That said, 50kg bombs are pretty sad, but I’d still rather have some than none. The Bf 109’s both get 4x 50kg’s, not to mention that the 250kg bombs for the German bombers FAR outperform 50kg or 100kg bombs available to USSR.

A very disappointing final campaign level unlock (for both nations, honestly, although perhaps it is good that not all levels are so power creepy).
