Before you put ammo in it, you pull and push the “lever” to move the bolt back, and not after.

Thats problem not only with there guns. MP40 has same problem.
Well tbh I have no idea how any other gun is animated xD Just the MG coz I haven’t unlocked it yet.
i know that the flak gun that all teams have ATM is also not firing as its real life counterpart
the gun fires from an open bolt. you can either cicle the bolt first or after the reload is done.

either way. its possible with both guns.
There is no chambering with a round on open bolt guns as rounds are fired as soon as the bolt locks behind the one in the chamber/barrel so both ways to reload are indeed possible with mg42/34 and most open bolt guns.
btw :
cicling the bolt, can be done befor or after the reload. on both cases, there is no ammo on the chamber.

I noticed the German MG reload doesn’t follow “bolt back, handle forward” before putting the belt. The DPs on the other hand, the pan magazine doesn’t move when fired.
Even TT got it wrong like how can it fire with the hammer up when it had to be down to actually fire.
Their sounds are off too
