MG-34 fire rate should be lowered to match vehicle mounted guns

Title says it all, the MG-34’s that are mounted on vehicles fire at the proper rate of fire whilst the MG-34 that infantry uses fires way too fast. Its only 100 rpm off from the MG-42 which is silly.

The vehicle mounted MG34 is actually the nerfed one. The handheld troop carried MG34 has the an approximate realistic rate of fire according to the historical stats of such weapon.

weird…

You do know that the 34 can fire faster than the 42 right?

Early versions: 600–1,000 rounds/min selectable on pistol grip.
Standard variant: 800–900 rounds/min.
MG 34 S: 1,500 rounds/min.
MG 34/41: 1,200 rounds/min.

yeah but that just makes the MG-42 pointless if you can simply make the MG-34 fire FASTER than it. RIght now in game there is only a 100 rpm difference between the two guns so I just find it silly thats all.

numbers are off for these 2
In order to increase the firing rate, several experimental weapons were developed, including the MG 34 S with a shortened barrel, modified locking system, improved recoil amplifier and modified buffer device. The cadence could be increased to 1,700 rounds per minute, but at the expense of functional reliability and the weapon’s service life. Therefore this system was not introduced. The further improved MG 34/41 achieved firing rates of 1,400 rounds/min. However, during testing, the durability of these weapons left something to be desired, which is why production of these temporary devices was stopped again.

Would love to see early MG34 with a lower rate of fire, and of course a MG42 with its actual rate of fire.

Just make MG42 have 1200rof then.

The vehicle MG-34 fires at 900 rpm, so did you mean increased?

MG-42 fired at 1,200 rounds/min (varied between 900–1,500 rounds/min with different bolts)

We should have the option to choose our fire rate and A FUCKING BELT!
