Melee mechanics. (Rock, paper and scissors) style

if we ever have more melee mechanics, i guess i should be like

what a hell are you talking about bandeide, That’s right. tree melee attacks should do fine.

Block: Frist the new feature, to block press Aim (Right mouse button) + space. you will use your gun to block a melee attack. depending in the weapon you will counter attack the enemy.

Attack: if you attack TWICE a blocking opponent the opponent will block loosing half life in process, then the second one will be a killing blow.

Charge: unless the enemy is blocking will kill instant. if he is blocking then he will block and couter atack you.

I’ve never even used melee, shooting them at close quarters does the job just as good if not better, so this would be an honestly pointless addition unless they made your gun point to the floor or ceiling while you’re in an enemy’s face.

Something like the combat mechanism of For Honor ? Ability to block and counterattack could be cool

I don’t want melee to depend on luck. Quickest should just win.

Plus, if ever, OP’s system should work the other way around (in every melee combat base game, a charged attack breaks blocking).

my ideia has we have guns around has diferent, but anyway thanks for you opnion has well.

for exemple. has the enemy charge you, you AIM, and shoot. if he ever get next to you, you block and couter atack.

but if he fail he will give one more simple atack, then kill you.

you opnion is simple but interesting though.

I just picture a German and an Ami (American) running at each other, with murder in their eyes and fury in their hearts, axe and spade in hand and then dropping them at the last moment to play rock, paper, scissors.
