Tried a katana-only challenge recently and noticed how the game prevents you from attacking again after a slice & instead forces you to wait around 1 second, you cant even start charging to avoid getting shot.
- remove this annoy & unnecessary nerf (easiest way is to reduce the waiting period to something like 0,1 sec
- “but then melee will be OP and unbeatable reeee” → melee is and will always be worse than a random br2 smg, it needs all the buffs it can get to become a viable part of the game and most importantly a fun part
- also perfect for marketing as cool melee clips are always liked and would get new players into the game, especially after the 7 fail months of 2025

They could just tone down the terminator CQC abilities of the bots and melee would be somewhat viable again.

they recently (like a month or 2 ago) reduced the time for melee charge time its currently way better now
What about adding melee blocking/parrying?

Wouldnt that just be a nerf to melee? It would only add counterplay to melee but not affect guns.
So getting a melee kill would be more of an uphill battle as it already is.
Never said the bots needed to be able to use it
gaijin could make it that melee attacking into a melee attack results in a block. there have been games like these already 15 years ago, so its something even gaijin would be able to code.
