Melee Couter Atack

I really enjoy the Charge Ability you DEV,s added to this great game. but i see there is one last feature to the melee system become 100% perfect.

there is two types of melee attack already in game, and the one i suggesting to finish the job.

Strike (hit the target normally, already in game)

Charge (Charge and in the end strike, already in game)

Counter Attack (Hold the position and attack in someone enters the range of the melee weapon)

how exactly it works? by pressing the melee command while be in the same place (Mouse wheel) or in my case Caps Look. you will enter in guard instance. meaning that you be Immune to melee attacks and anyone that enters in the range of the melee weapon will receive one blow. you can also still walk, whit can be decisive

for example, if never enter a house whit a knife and killed 5 enemy’s, you never played enlisted. you can be in a nice spot while IN COUTER ATACKK waiting someone enter the range of the melee weapon then hit him. AND be immune to he melee strike.

hope you guys understand, and sorry by my English.

So it’s like setting a spear in front of a charging animal so it impales itself?

ahhhhh, nooo

it,s about setting a bayonete and impalete a human soldier.

besides i know people won,t get it.

what is the point of that order? will you be unable to use ranged weapons in that case? or melee weapons? seems like overcomplication. this is not M&B where you need to block and counterattack with melee.

Yea but the technique is also used in bear hunting

I can easly imagine a guy, camping at the door just holding his melee weapon up and making a 30 kill streak.
So no for me.

The mecanic we got right now is good enough.

What enlisted could do is to be able to block a melee hit if you hit at the same time the enemy hit you.
It would be rare enough to do and yet still awesome. Not like the braindead “hold the weapon in the corner, waiting for somebody to cross the door”.
