As we all know the germans uses mg131 as their HMG at the moment… But it was converted for infantry use in the later stages of war, what makes it anachronistic in Moscow and Stalingrad campaigns, so… I would like to suggest you to replace it by this big guy:
Yep, this is it… ZB 60, a czechoslovakian HMG, which was produced during the german occupation of Czechoslovakia, and it was actually used by germans, during the WW2… Yeah, i know that its caliber = 15mm, but still… You can equalize its damage with other HMGs. And pls, nerf the wooden houses back. Let HMGs to penetrate what they could penetrate IRL (but with a lesser damage mb) .
It’s not like they care about putting anachronistic weapons in the wrong campaigns (prime example, Moscow). But it’s definitely a better option that what we have now and would make campaigns feel more unique, hopefully they’ll add it soon.
I think the wooden wall armor buff is just a quick fix to stop the HMG wallbang abuses as it is close to a holiday break. They will definitely rework the penetration mechanic when the staff return to work next year.
I agree. There were definitely a lot of penetration issues that arose across the board with these updates. I just really hope they make good adjustments to how they interact with the sandbags as well.
