It should automatically carry four medpacks locked into these slots, that are now just locked at being empty. Not such a great medic if a regular soldier with a large backpack can revive themselves from a downed state four times potentially, but the medic can not? Makes sense?
I hope one day they will remodel the equipment system, because this one is absurd and inconsistent. A small ammunition bag, provides literally five rounds for a Mauser, and is always visible on the soldier, but a 9kg anti-tank mine or a box of first aid kits comes out of nowhere. A medic can’t carry more than one first-aid kit, but a Guerrilla can carry two weapons, five TNT charges and a small ammunition depot to the main weapon.
That was always a issue with them because the game treats them as poor-man’s Assaulter I without backpack or second weapon slot.
But instead have useless crates and syringers for a game where people are proud of the fact they lead 30 squads per game to the afterlife (and a dumb-ass AI that has worse survival instincts than the Payday 2 cops).
The four standard backpacks would be interesting in terms of equalizing them to Assaulters.
We should get a message if someone is healing us, also the bots should stop moving while being healed and they need to heal a lot more and a lot better.
