Matchmaking potential

The game’s monetization strategy and campaign system cause a few issues in power on the battlefield leading to 1 sided engagements.

A fairly simple way would be to either divide the campaign progress into Tiers and match people in those same tiers.

or

Have a loadout point system where certain weapons and classes/vehicles have a value and you are queued up with people closely matching your value.

It’s not fun being rolled on by teams that have a lot unlocked and it definitely leaves a very bad impression to first timers if they just get shell shocked by artillery or nuked by bombing runs with no response to it.

Aside from that glaring issue, the game itself is fun when you get balanced fights.

When the beta started i was in games in about 5 seconds

its now regularly 10-15 seconds

please no more.

The equipment is over valued by new players. As you get experience, you can get to a first place on the level 1. Perhaps it needs something like a tutorial campaign, where you play 4-5 matches with other new players only.
Tiers of equipment where done in H&G and it’s one of the worst decisions made by devs. All it does is just makes it harder to find matches and then you play against the same people, with the same equipment, again and again.

Very true, people don’t realize 90% of the time it comes down to pure tactics and not the equipment used. I love the idea of having a separate game mode for starting players. I’m at level 20 for Normandy now and still find myself using a bunch of the low level squads. I hated sitting in matchmaking for a half hour in Heroes and Generals only to still not find a game most of the time it felt.
