Every game as Axis we are grounded to dust against the US faction and it’s absolutely abysmal. I don’t want to cry and say axis suffers, we don’t, what we have is a LARGE divide of BRV players. Either half of them get out against Soviets in Berlin, or they get stuck into BoB in Ardennes, leaving the rest of BRIII/IV/V to fight BRV US players in Normandy or BoB. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve played 6 games today and each one has been utterly miserable. Some games are okay, we lose but it’s fun, but as of recently it’s been too much. I can’t play a game like this, especially when half my team is bots.
I’ll wait for the steam release. Until then, stop giving me challenges where I have to “win a battle” or win a battle as top of the leaderboard. I can’t win a single game at this rate, I’m top of the team every game. I feel like this is the literal definition of insanity.
Outside quitting Stalingrad bc i don’t like it and every bomb and multi point mode for much or less the same reason + is more difficult when you need to carry, I decide before even spawning if the game will be enjoyable and I desert based on this.
Overall i’m having a nice experience.
You also have the Horn STG players who got catapulted into BR V with their grunt squad and Pz II. Soviets have the same thing with AT-44, but US didn’t have any beginners skip to BR V from that event. I think that only contributes to the power divide.
And it’s not like Germany doesn’t have the equipment to absolutely devastate the US, it’s just that matchmaking doesn’t take skill into consideration. There’s the fallacy that the single best piece of equipment in your loadout determines how you will perform in a match - and add to that that many vehicles and weapons need their BR adjusted too.
I’m not sure introducing skill-based matchmaking is the solution here, and we’ll need to see how the steam launch affects faction balance.

I don’t know about the other factions, but everything in the US seems perfectly fine where it’s at to me. Especially BR III being perfect where it isn’t too OP for I-II yet can handle V just fine
