Bruh, there is no 4 sweaty stacks at this point. The player base is way below the red line. If you check the steamchart and combine it with your own experience of how many of your in game friends are offline (friends from before the steam release) then you should get a picture of how many players left.
Truly, not many, and the devs and this entire forum makes it look like it’s still alive just to extract what is left. Money
The entire first half of this year constant broad day light fuckups and the recent jap event was a straw that broke the camel’s back.
There is no going back.
This entire experience I have with this game seems like, somebody at the top never wanted this game to succeed in the first place.
steamchart is extremely inaccurate way to see playerbase.
it shows concurrent players in game
it doesnt show if players are in battle or if they are in main menu
more than half of playerbase is on standalone launcher or on consoles.
data from last year showed increase in playerbase and i am currently taking data to see how it compares to last year, so i wont be commenting on this years numbers yet. but from what i saw, game still matches you with 10v10 matches.
I mostly depend on RU. Which is in Moscow as far as I remember, and EU in Ireland Dublin…
Anyhow, for some reason I assume the game base is in US.
Why? Because this year of playing the game for 1-4h a day every evening, which is European afternoon. Anytime from 4pm to 1am EU. Based on this experience I have seen major instances of empty servers, especially in-between the events.
Anything from me and 2-3 other players against all odds (enemy team packed) to my team half players and their team half players.
Anyhow. There is no way to check it. And according to you steam charts are not reliable.
So, what’s the point.
Steam charts are great way for me since I track it for this game since their first steam flop. And talking to friendly players on discord, and outside for last 2 years.
I forgot to add that during the recent Jap event, some players who utterly hate playing as japs, didn’t even bother to play the event at all.
And for them at the time of the event, normal gameplay was mostly against bots.
So, yeah
Big BIG AMAZING out of steam player base… such player base, enormous. I came to this forum and look at it, it was BIGGER than I thought. - Donald Trump
no. these are unique players who actually played a game on that day. otherwise number is insanely high. last year i checked player number over 3 months and got ~1.6(or 1.7) millions. there are lot of casuals and people who just check out the game and never come back.
it will come, get loads of players and then die in half a year or maybe a year max like every other battlefield and cod.
