What do you mean marked ammo resupply point. I think you can already mark it in the game.

Do you mean, that it should be automaticaly marked for teammates permanently?

If there is a way to mark ammo resupply, I couldn’t find it too… A few days ago, I was thinking about the same problem. I am the only one who knows where I build it.

Ammo points should show up on your map.
And I wouldn’t be too adverse to putting one back in spawn that’s infinite, but only for guns and maybe grenades detpacks, no mortar shells though.
Like with the tank repair and resupply point.

Mortars are nerfed to the ground, so let them resupply, doesn’t really matter

Mortar spammers begs to differ.
All you need to do is to sit with your mortar behind a building, build few ammo crates and you can spam entire game on cap, effectively denying any chance for enemy to cap/defend their point while you just sit on your spawn and farm infinite kills without any risks. Alas, that is not the problem of mortar itself, that is problem of crates providing mortar ammo. Limiting mortar ammo is actually elegant solution how to give mortar more tactical purpose than monkey-brained spamming of one point.

Limiting mortar ammo will make them useless

No they’re not. They can sit in spawn and spam mortars for several minutes unabated without any counterplay.

Either remove their resupply or remove the ability to use it outside the other team’s playable area. If either are not done remove them entirely.

With only 10 rounds and the kind of game that Enlisted is, mortars without ammo supply of some sort are useless.

IRL they might take out a machinegun or something, or lay a smoke screen - but in Enlisted 10 rounds on a cap might get you a handful of kills - but you have to be a little bit lucky for that - and then that’s that.

Where they are great with the current system (and by “great” I mean OP!) is laying a barrage - if you find the enemy spawn then it’s pinata time, or a barrage just on hte enemy side of a cap can wreak havoc with an assault or reinforcements.

It may be that no middle ground can be found, in which case they would need to disappear entirely IMO - they are a waste of time taking up a squad space if they only get 10 rounds.

I think that there were also suggestions to allow mortars get only limited amount of ammunition from engineers which might solve your concerns about mortars being useless.

The problem with the pinata time spawn-mortaring is that i know all the spawn points that the enemy have, so that makes it too easy to just sit and spam. I feel like mortars just need a resupply limit, not too low like 10, but enough to make the safe-zone mortars less persistent. Overall though, i dont really find myself dying to mortars that much, what really angers me is when the spawn restriction literally protects them by not letting me into their spawn. I think the map limits need to be changed
