hello is it possible to import and edit the maps? For example, there are a lot of 3 cards for call of duty etc. from Wofenstein Enemy Territory are great cards and there would be a lot of new maps. I would also convert them etc
no.
the editor is currently working on enlisted assets. and enlisted assets only. as such, you can’t " import " stuff to begin with. nor import stuff from other games. reason being, none of game company uses the same assets unless they share the same engine.
which in enlisted, the dragor 6 it’s pretty unique and no where has been ever used.
so it will take a long time ( if it will ever happen ) we could rig and put to use assets from other games.
for now, you can open the editor and edit map including objects and use the logic editor for objectives and stuff. all within the tools that are available.
what is the name of the editor to create the map? and what are the names of the maps at the end if they were created by entlisted?
You can technically create any map from another game. I’m currently working on creating a collection of pseudo textures for mapping, and I hope this will greatly help the community in the recreation of iconic maps.
I’ll ask myself at the Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Forum if there are any possibilities … it doesn’t have to copy everything
I’ll ask myself at the Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Forum if there are any possibilities … it doesn’t have to be copied everything, just the basic structure of the maps, for example. like the maps Feul Dump oasis Radar oldscool Maps etc.
you can find it in your game folder.
modseditor.bat
from there, you will be able to select a map that you want within the ones available ( which are all in the current game )
and from there, experiment and try on your own.
not an easy " work/job ". but it can be done with lot of patience and experience.
for starter, i suggest to get on enlisted, create a custom lobby, select the mods, click on the site:
and subscribe to all map of this user:
https://enlisted-sandbox.gaijin.net/user/AT_MAP/
( which it’s probably a developer or someone who knoes about this stuff )
then, once installed, go in the folder usergamemodes and create every single new folders with names from then put one of those blk files and rename it to " scene ".
once done that, you can open the editor and see for your self all the files and how they work.
so that you can see the logic how it works there.
which as para said, you can technically recreate map from scratch as we have the tools to do it. but you have to be willingly and have lot of time
and please use the " replay " function over the forum. otherwise people will not get notified about you asking question with the person speaking.
for the rest, good luck. and welcome.
