Maps should be much more open with multiple areas to fight in, for example fields, mountains, and cities mixed together. Close quarter combat with rifles is getting boring, and doesn’t require team work. This feels more like a COD game than a tactical shooter. The maps in Hell Let Loose are a perfect representation on what the maps in Enlisted should be like.
The maps in HLL are also too big IMO.
You can spend ages walking to the objective and die within seconds.
As much as I am all for new larger open maps, the main issue is keeping the gameplay fluid and fast paced.
I agree, but the maps could definitely use a size increase, as well as some variety. Using a bolt action from 5 meters isn’t the most fun thing, this is why I think they should make more open maps that require more cooperation with your team.
The plan is to add more open maps, Fortified district on the Moscow Campaign is a great example of these newer open designs and hopefully we’ll see another one like this soon.
Some of these maps have huge playable areas, but the cap points are all clustered in the middle. They have tweaked the caps some back in closed BETA they were to tiny, like one room tiny.
