[Map] Island Resort

Off the coast of Gavutu lies a small community, an island, focused on tourism. But today, conflict comes to:

Island Resort

A while ago (when 0.4 released?) i noticed the developers have added detail for absolutely no reason to this small island on the Gavutu map:

I added some more detail. Here is the result: (POIs)

Port. Passengers and Cargo is unloaded here.

Main Street, it has the same purpose as any main street in any village.

The island is divided into two main parts; The City Hall and it’s surroundings…


…and the other hilltop with the church and the village center

City Hall

This is less dense, allowing for medium-range engagements. Has a couple homes around, located at different levels.

Village Center (Church)

Given the small area, there is singificant verticality here, you need to take 72 steps to reach the church!

More dense than the afformentioned area, for closer engagements. This is where celebrations, events happen.

Also where they rest permamently.


Due to the unusual design, gamemode for this is Gun Game. Conquest MIGHT fit, no more than 2 zones. But everyone hates conquest, so i didn’t bother for now.

I originally wanted to put the mansion from beach_fortified, but it was too large, and left little space for anything else.

I finished the right side first, started to sketch how high the church should be.

The height was determined by the stairs in the end. Covering up ugly terrain took WAY too long.

The right dense are if almost complete. Note that i had to place terrain patches around buildings, because grass eraser doesn’t work on everything on japanese maps for some reason.

The church’s surroundings are complete-ish.

In this last photo i didn’t know what to do with the center empty space; I decided that the bamboo already present will do just fine:
