well the FG42 II have good Rof (sometimes is a curse) and 15.3 damage with a decent recoil and very inconsistent dispersion (but for some reason i noticed that if you stand still u will not be affected so much by the dispersion maybe its just my perception lol or maybe this gun somehow work like a mg)
but this isnt the main topic we have on the TT the almost useless first model of fg42 so i had an idea to make it playable along with the fact to have more variety as soviets that can use AVS with little recoil or a 20 rounds AVT or just use the standard AVT
this change is as simple as keeping the same damage (15.3), but reducing the Fire rate from 990 to 600 and increasing its accuracity from 0.25 to 0.21-0.20 (similar as T20) so that way we have a fast firing SF like avs and Carabine M2 but at same time SF with less rof but increased accuracity
also when body armor for all nations by free / or being removed from the game?
The FG-42-I niche is that its the faster firing, cqc oriented FG rifle. Giving it such a low rof would just be a massive nerf and useless compared to FG-II

FG42 had a fire of 900 rpm which was later lowered to 750 rpm than the stock and other details were upgraded which is commonly referred to as FG42 II for simplicity, that had kept the 750 rpm.
600 rpm is a miscalculation since fire rate was difficult to calculate back in the days.
We got the update that made FG-42-1 historically accurate while also giving it a niche where itâs better than FG-42-2, and dude is asking to revert it
honestly i ddint know there was no 600 rof version when it comes to this statements so well basically best we can do its to ask for FG42 II bayonet since idk another way to actually make this gun âequivalent to the AVT 20â
huh? why on earth would FG42 II and AVT-40 20 need be the exact same?
AVT-40 has higher muzzle velocity, better dispersion and lower fire rate which is better for long range shooting.
FG42 II has high fire rate and slightly lower recoil which is good for room clearing.
They are balanced.
Soviets are only crying about fire rate because there is nothing else for them to whine about, but its complete none sense to complain about the fire rate of one shot kill guns.
The AVT could arguably have itâs RoF increased (DELAVR made a post about it recently), but there was some variance, depending on the gas setting.
Iâm happy with where the AVT- 40 20 is going to be. Only thing left to really bring Select Fires to perfect parity is finding an appropriate 7.7mm Select Fire for Japan (which isnât even all that necessary either).
The Kiraly 39M honestly in my opinion kinda sucks, I only use it for my tankers cause itâs only good for hitting French men that try to blow me up. I really hope next update weâll get either the Suomi thatâs in the files WITH A Different muzzle and 71 drum mag or The premium Suomi but with a 50 round coffin magazine for the German TT
