Making Plane Gameplay more Impactful

I’m pretty sure anyone who’s been on the receiving end of constant HVAR spam will greatly disagree with you.

If you want more powerful CAS options- Literally just fly a plane. Why have it be a callout?

Every faction, save for the Japanese, now have CAS loadouts with over or nearing 1 metric ton of ordnance.

Radios being nerfed and then getting utility buffs was a step to address the ancient times where every radio op had an independent timer, and the whole map was covered in red circles.

I knew someone was going to bring up HVAR :sweat_smile:. I almost said in my last post that besides CAS planes are still a weak arm

Im not arguing that CAS isn’t important, but just in general planes don’t have much to do. And even then only certain planes are great at CAS. Even now fighter planes can barely do their job when there isn’t always an enemy plane to shoot at vs the ground which is always active

Obviously we won’t have dogfighting armadas like in WT, but I just feel like it could at least be “more”

Which is why I thought of giving the plane more things to do for the team effort

I get your point about being a slant-grade, but I still think bombing runs are so nerfed right now that they need a buff. Of coarse they don’t have to be turned into absolute monsters, just better.

But one thing is sure they should definitely be switched to heavy bomber planes to give them representation.

So new models and at least better performance
