But it would be a nightmare to code since the devs would have to create smart system where you would have to swap out that weapon if it’s already acquired by a member in reserve or in one of your squads.
The fact that every soldier in every possible squad and reserve needs to be equipped with one weapon from your stock is an obsolete system and a hindrance to a smooth system.
It would be better if the devs introduced a generic un-upgraded bolt-action rifle that automatically equips reserve soldiers and non-assigned soldiers placed in a squad.
That it would be a non-editable, non-upgraded stock bolt-action rifle that automatically is assigned by non-assigned soldiers in reserve and in surplus squads.
It would be the starter rifle for every faction without any upgrades and unupgradable. An unlimited stock of this specific rifle that is automatically assigned to troops in reserve and to troops in every squads (unless you want them equipped obviously).
Or reserve just remembers what weapon to take, but does not actually hold those weapons?
And when you bring back the soldier it tries to get such a weapon, and if fails reverts to the default you suggested?
This is very welcomed, but please fix my bug plane wheels on Pacific it’s 2 years old… also Moroccan outfits should be default army in Normandy to fit in, not multicoloured
Totally agree if you have the uniform unlocked you should be able to put in on any squad you want stupid minor stuff like this is an easy fix but so annoying they want to pick and choose whats historically accurate.
when you customize the basic camo of APC it doesn’t show in the real match. I had changed the Japan apc camo and during a match I noticed it was back to stock
Yeah but the MKb 42(H) is the tech tree version. If anything, the tech tree version goes to BR IV and the StG 45(M) goes to BR III, although they are very similar guns (less than 50 rpm difference), so both could work as BR IV. The Devs have already said they’d consider it going to BR IV, but BR III is too far I feel.

No… that’s not what medics got. we’re lucky they get SMGs most medics (at least german ones) generally just got a pistol or whatever they might scavenge on the field.
I could see an argument for letting them also have shotguns maybe but yeah Medics should only be close support.

Yes typically Medics were issued with just pistols but we have to look at two cases. The Soviets passed out smgs to pretty much everyone so many different troops were armed with them. Radio Operators, Medics, etc. American Medics occasionally used M1 Carbines as they were the perfect weapon for self defense for their role.
So Medics should have access to both rifles and smgs.
Nothing is being taken away with this suggestion. If you want to use smgs use smgs, if you want to use rifles use rifles. It’s increasing our options
