1. Camera Shake
I recently found out that you can turn it off and it really takes the immersion off. Please turn it on for all players and make it mandatory.
2. Stationary MGs
Please give the stationary MG nests reload mechanism instead of firing infinity rounds and overheating. It would be great if the MGs were according to the faction. I mean when Germans are defending the fixed MGs should be MG42s, MG34s, MG13s etc… and when Americans are defending the MGs should be from Browning M1919A4/A6 families and when USSR is defending, their own MGs.
3. Mortal Damage
Although I have made kills jumping down from roofs of 2 storied buildings in some maps. I personally dislike that and don’t wanna play like that because it’s too much cartoony and unrealistic. I’m sure a lot of other players would agree too. When jumping from such high places please give the playing soldier mortal damage at the very least like they have to use med kits or even dies. No one can survive a fall intact from 2 story building with all the gear he carries as a soldier, his body is already heavy enough to break his legs.
The only thing that separates a WW2 game from arcadey games like pubg, fortnite etc is the history, realism and the immersion and WW2 gamers actually love that aspect in WW2 themed games, the main reason Hell Let Loose and Post Scriptum attracts gamers is because of the details and immersion. Enlisted is already a SUPER game with no less details than those 2 games and REALLY has the potential to be a real top game in the WW2 genre if some right modifications are added. It has great potential for revenues.
But lets be serious now.
1.: No. Players should decide for themself if they prefer to not get headaches.
2.: MG Skins will eventually come in the next century. You can debate about reload or overheat feature. I dont care here-
3.: No one can survive Mg shoots and heal them with bandages. Game is arcade.
You said that WW2 games are only separable from other games due to realism, which is just wrong, looking at HnG and BFV. They are/ were sucessfull too. Arcade or realism or walk sim is not important. The way how it is implanted is the question.
Heroes and Generals is really bad/cartoony/unrealistic compared to Enlisted. I actually left that game for Enlisted and many other players I know did the same. I never invested real money in HnG but I’m actually thinking of investing in Enlisted.
Not if it happens a lot and this game is known for a lot of HE, bomb and TNT usage. Plus minus MG spam.
That comes from people who NEVER played CBT Moscow… or actually read the damn advertisement page, their announcements or some interesting posts of Keofox.
Not if MGs are mass spammed and includes tank mgs.
While having a RTS campaign…
Its funny that you cant accept that WW2 and arcade can work together just cause you dislike arcade gamestyle.
Never said its better, said it presents WW2 better than enlisted.
And TBH it wasnt bad game, infact it was decent game with much potential.
Which was pretty effectively turned into pile of shit with unnecessary “realism” additions, which most likely lead to its death.
I like enlisted because I think it is the best balance between realism and “Arcady” fun.
That being said the devs have promised us a game that is “…in line with historical facts.” So instead of just shrugging our shoulders and saying “ehh it’s a game” we should hold the devs accountable to their promise.
“Thats all”. Yeah. Those RTS+FPS games are that common nowadays.
So CS has paras, tanks, planes, rts and big “maps”? Also whats the matter with CS? I dont like CS but it isnt a bad game at all. Avg. 500k+ players. And its funny that BFV still has more players than HLL. We can debate all night ling about the dev strategy (lack of content, TTK or skins) and the advertisment but its still has a solide playerbase which is big enough. Enlisted also seems to work with arcade/“realism” (which is actually nothing more than the tank models) hybrid gamestyle.
