It’s heavy enough on my ears when it’s only me doing it. Imagine your entire squad screaming at 400% of the global volume setting.
But outside of that, I agree. Even when not used to melee someone, the charge increases your sprint speed which inevitably splits you off from your squad. Would be nice if your squad arrived together with you.

but i seem to remember the whole squad charging?,
i would just stop in game and rofl, every time i saw it,
did it change?
So true; it takes away the advantage of doing a banzai when only one soldier does it.

They follow you, but no, they don’t charge and also don’t get the mini speed boost.
i completly agree and see in future how 8 men charge in a circle cause inkompetent Devs

Been asking and wishing for that as well. I wanted there be a lil plus, to play Japan
Japan only survives now because it’s possible to use tier 4 and not face tier 5. If the team meets USA guys equipped in tier 4 too however, poor Japan gets crushed
(Seriously, grey zone jumboS. Paired with everyone hugging pilot seats WHILE being terrible at it)
Once Japan gets in tier 5, it will be a bot faction.

Well let’s hope we can keep this suggestion in view of the devs. This would honestly make Japan way more fun to play, even though it wouldn’t increase viability all that much. (It would still help obviously)

It wouldn’t help survivability or efficiency at all.
BUT!
Seeing as Japan is a real underdog faction, to fall with a bang is at least much cooler, and might bring some hardcore players in who aren’t afraid of falling.
Devs should remove victory bonus already. Or rather, make it default for all players (then there would be much less rank farmers and ppl wouldn’t mind too much losing)

Used to play Japan mostly left them like 3 weeks ago. And the way Japan is getting stomped I may never return.
made me think of a feature that I wanted for a while make entire squad pulling out grenades and throwing grenades at the same time…
- Get caught reloading inside a building
- Bayonet charge the enemy who saw you
- All other members of your squad collectively charge at the air for no reason
You can do it, but you need to finish all ammunition first
