So my idea was that medics in both Stalingrad and Pacific exist. I thought since usually, the player may not be healing people while being an assault medic, make it so your ai medic squad who are medics will try and heal the nearest allied players that are wounded while you focus on shooting people

While I don’t believe you should “not have time” to do your first job as a medic, it would be neat to have your AI medics do more than stand around getting shot.
No no and no. Current ai already have problem eith engaging enemy. Medics are same as assaulter and i use them as 5 soldier assaulter squads. Nearly all of them are being killed before even i reach the enemy position. I dont want them to focus on healing some random bots while i need extra fire power from legitimate dumb bots wich are totally useless in Ĺźong range combat and being hunted like flys. Change the dumb ai first
do you even realize you can set your squad AI from passive to aggressive where they will attack on site?
Setting them to passive will make them focus on following you until they are shot at. Also, ordering them to attack or defend a position will make them prioritise the order instead of taking popshots.
