The latest Japanese premium squad features body armor that looks aesthetically very pleasing.
Japan should have the option to distribute this to more classes instead of a rider premium that nobody is going to buy, so they can have more parity with the USSR faction.
i still don’t understand why despite the complaints,
they still make the armor have the 10% damage reduction.
which personally, i do not care nor really notice the difference.
but it’s just dumb having cosmetics that affects the gameplay ( although, even that minor ).
and the characther just like a looney toones does everything with no sweats.
literally 0 downsides to just get rid of it.
you will both quiet the ones who complains and straight up negates the shitters who can’t help themselves but needs placeboo protection.

i don’t… really see why armors should be that common outside the ussr.
since combat engineers were their thing.
japanese soldiers with some rare / captured armors don’t really prove a point.
but i’m not opposed to it given the lack of selection either.
Cosmetic options in general should not be limited to premium or event squads.
But at the same time cosmetics should not have effects either, body armour damage reduction has to be removed.
As long as the USSR gets to enjoy free 10% damage reduction on nearly every class, even the damn guerillas, I will continue to advocate for body armor for the other factions for the sake of equality
in general for some stupid company reasons I assume lack of proper customization, I won’t say it’s historically wrong, because some uniforms are like the game show, but we are missing lot of pieces still…
japanease got some crazy warfare, if someone should get Body armor sure Japan would be fit to it.
Paras dont get armor tho - they already get extra Vitality which is pretty much the same as 10% damage reduction.
As such, every nation already effectively has body armor, but only their Paratroopers - which kinda sucks considering only Soviets get to use custom loadouts.

Well Soviet flamers do get body armor + Vitality + extra vitality though, but that is the exception.
the Japanese also had other bulletproof vests that look more simple and do not stand out too much against the background of the usual Japanese uniform
More reasons for those map filters I’ve been on about for some time. Guess the usual leave whenever there is a pacific map, will still have to do.
No, dont agree. They should remove the Soviet one instead and only keep it for the unique assault engineer squads.
Maybe they now finaly have body armour for a Japanese assault engineer squad.

Why ruin all immersion to add dumb ass body armour for all when we can solve the problem by removing SU body armour? (Except for the assault engineer boys of course)
