Make the guns use actual smokeless powder

I recently started playing Japan tier III and I noticed that some of the weapons have so much smoke effect when firing that it makes it impossible to see the target. So I did some testing on the range and here are the results:

So what’s going on here? Why does the Berdan II, an actual black powder rifle, produce the least amount of smoke while the Type Otsu and Type 100 are very hard to aim accurately due to the smoke effect? I especially noticed it in the Type 100 - it’s an excellent SMG, but I can’t see anything while using it.
I know that DF announced they’ll do something about it, but it was a long time ago and I thought they fixed that already.

The smoke effects have annoyed me as well. Some weapons completely blind you with it, like you mention. It’s really extreme on certain tanks too, the Tigers for example are blind for 2 seconds after every shot.

During shooting, there is so much smoke that I can’t see ahead. We need to reduce the amount of smoke for gameplay improvement. This is not a realism issue, but a choice for the convenience of the game

I thought they have fixed it like 2 times already.

Their “smokeless gunpowder” update made the smoke issue worse but hey, selective memory for the Devs

Some Soviet guns should honestly have more of a ‘fireball’ effect than smoke due to their muzzlebreaks. I myself own an AK-101 with the giant muzzlebreak on it and the flash took up almost the entire stall at the range. I feel like this should reflect on some guns like the Dshk more, the PPS, the AVS-36.

From what I know these modern AK muzzle brakes are quite good at reducing the recoil, but at the cost of that fireball you mentioned. But as for the in-game effects, the guns that use muzzle brakes definitely do need more muzzle flash.
