Currently it’s mostly tankers who get it (at least from my experience) and imo it feels a bit cheated. It’s easy to get ranged master when you have an indicator exactly where your shell will land. And tanks already have other badges they can get so taking away one of them won’t do much harm.
Meanwhile actual snipers have to show some skill in long range shots than just lobing 50mm HE shell at the indicator. It would slightly increase snipers effectiveness in terms of XP gain.
Yes, I agree. Tankers are already getting best tanker+best vehicle multipliers. Leave something to infantry with good eyes and sniper classes.
However, much more would be needed to make sniper squads attractive or viable to use.

Tbh I’d rather give “range master” badge to camping sniper than camping tank
I believe that (for example) those US snipers in D day taking out MGs deserve as much as full auto Rambos on monkey styled hipfire rampage.

And yeah, I agree with this. Greyzoning tanks are a problem, this can only help.
