Make Premium xp amount regular xp

This has probably been said a lot but here we go. This idea is something I’ve heard from many people. I love this game and for most games I actually like some grind but this game has way way too much. even with premium which I have it is a crazy amount of grind especially for campaign lvls. so the suggestion that could make the grind a bit easier and make premium more worth it, is to make the amount of xp you get when having premium the regular xp and make premium double that. this would make the grind of this game way better without having to overhaul any thing else. I’ve spent close to 200$ on this game and i might give more in the future but with this insane amount of grind I don’t know if i will. if anyone wants to know I’m currently half way on lvl 20 in Normandy allies. so that is my suggestion make the amount of xp gain with premium regular and make the premium double that.

I don’t think the grind is too much and in fact it’s pretty quick to complete a campaign (if premium+battle pass.)

One thing I do see though is the progression of Squads seem to be off. A squad is very difficult to grind up in the beginning and then as you unlock all the “+25% exp” unlocks it is very rapid. I believe those should be done away with and reduce the amount needed for upgrade points. Something to make the squad grind easier in the beginning and harder at the end. The way it is now just seems opposite of every game I’ve ever played…

Ye I think you are right there. Some of the end game squads are a tough grind to get anything on them.

On the main xp topic, I dont see any issues with xp in this game at all. I played warthunder for years and I am not done with 1 tech tree. In this game I am done with 2 campaigns and a 3th almost finished. Besides that I have spend 50% of my time on the finished US campaign and that is in 2 months. I think its quite reasonable tbh.

This is definitely true. The end game squads dont offer alot in return for all the hours of grinding just to get back to where the first version of the squad was. All the time it takes just to get a magazine pouch on a gunner isnt enjoyable at all

Yeah I’m honestly tired of the 180k XP grinds for each new thing
Back in CBT that was like a solid 12 hour grind for each level.
Haven’t done it again without premium, but I’m not relishing three of them just to get the T-50.

I mean the later squads are significantly better due to the bonuses their troops give. Having an additional 5 points for perks from assaulter 1 to assaulter 2 allows new perks for lower level troops. Plus they typically have better unique skills that only that class gets. I always just go straight for the XP bonuses and can typically grind them out really quick after that.

Unlocking squads and progressing should be a good experience.

The way I feel now is… “Oh, I don’t want to play this new Squad… F these guys without any flexibility, I’ll just stick to my previous squads. Can I put these new weapons on my old guys?”

Honestly squads are pretty easy for me to grind. its mostly the campaign. i play for many hours a day and its still a large grind to play. especially for people that don’t have has much time to play. i have played for 5+ hours before and barely got through the campaign lvl even while i was a top player most of the matches. in short im still standing by my idea of the xp change cause not everyone can play for many hours at a time. plus it would make it feel like premium is more worth to buy,

That seems sort of debatable as to which of the soldiers passive perk thing is better. Most are completely different so it seems more of a different buff all together

Well, I can see your point. How long should a campaign take to unlock?

I personally think a player that doesn’t play that much, shouldn’t be able to beat it, as you need a lot of players to keep playing for it to work, and if the good player breezes through it too fast, they’ll get bored and move on.

There’s a delicate balance to be had…

Honestly right now an average player can complete a 29 level campaign after about 150-175 hours of playing by my estimates. For a free to play game, thats not bad. It mostly comes down to how many levels the devs plan to have.

I hope they don’t go over level 30… I’d rather see more campaigns than longer ones.

Honestly I’m expecting around 35 levels for each campaign, purely off of the content that should be there but we dont have.

i do agree it should be somewhat of a grind to finish a campaign but right now it just feels like way to much of a grind currently, there is a balance to be had but it feels like that balance in a little heavy on one side currently. so for me i usually play from 8pm-1am on the days i can, which currently is most days, from that time i can usually only get one campaign lvl and maybe half of the next lvl (and that is at lvl 20 not even at needing 180k for a lvl yet). i think if i play for that long i should be able to get at least 2 lvls or 3 if im really tryharding for xp.

I was kind of bummed they added more campaign levels a little while ago as it increased the grind to complete one. I would rather them just threw the weapons in and gave us new maps/wpns/vehicles in a new campaign.

Honestly I wouldve preferred to see them do a “branch” where there would be one new unlock branching off the main unlock progress. Therefore allowing max level to be 26 but also allowing access to new stuff like the thompson at earlier levels.

They should replace current progression with normal tech tree. It’s not a rocket science.

That cracked me up… I feel Gaijin likes to re-invent the wheel at times.

Im not a fan of a tech tree for weapons. But having small branches like:

Wouldn’t be bad. It would encourage forward progress but allow players to decide if they want to take the time to detour off for something or to ignore it.

Sounds like a tech tree with one main line of progression.
