There’s just no reason for it to not be BR II at this point. It is probably the worst BR III vehicle in the game. So it should be moved down. Here are the reasons:
It’s super slow and takes ages to move. And it’s not a heavy tank so no excuses for its slow movement.
It has very few anti infantry shells. Of course it’s a tank destroyer so it makes sense but that still lowers its power.
It is open top. No further explanation needed here.
No machine gun. Again it is a tank destroyer so it makes sense but it once again lowers its power. This makes it especially defenseless because when infantry gets close, you know it’s over.
No armor. As if it being open top wasn’t enough it has the armor an M13 mgmc, can be destroyed by pretty much any tank and even basic AT rifles. Which are SUPER easy to use and only usually work against tracks.
The only arguments that could go against this that i can think of could be the fact it has very strong anti tank shells and that it was developed in 1945 and late things are near the end of the tree usually. But then again the maps are the same for all BRs for Japan and other factions have powerful AT capabilities at BR II aswell. (I’m just going to pretend that there isn’t a BR II vehicle that can one shot every tank in the game. You know what i’m talking about.) So i genuinely think BR II would be more reasonable. Thoughts?
exept it doesnt really make sence since it is the only vehicle ingame with that kind of ammo split.
All other tank destroyer only got an even split so 50/50 HE/AT or 33/33/33 HE/AT/APCR
Having a 20/40/40 split is just unheard of in enlisted.
Unless the issue with the HE is resolved it might aswell be BR 1 and it would still not be worth running at all.
I remember including this in a post some time ago and saying ‘It could be made BR2 and nobody would play it’ lmao
Low ammo count, worse HE than M8 Scott, poor driving, no turret - everything about this tank is just about awful. Even the high pen doesn’t really matter when downtiering because it lol-pens about everything in it’s bracket other than a Jumbo
Why not? Have you even used this vehicle yourself? It’s not fun or practical to use at BR3 given you have only 7 HE shells and your crew are very exposed. I think BR 2 is completely fine for the Na-To.
Not even close, I feel like to speak about the Na-To, you must have played it, there is literally no tank in the game which isnt an existential threat to it, any plane can instantly wipe out the gun crew, and any bomb even in the same post code will delete it from existence, which may sound like the M10, but trust me, its even worse.
The M10 has a few features going for it, I mean for one its not a casemate, and has far better angles of traverse, not to mention even being open topped, it has much better crew survivability.
Hahaha, isn’t it enough for you to see up to BR III when playing with Japan? Let them put it in BR I to satisfy you, it’s just as stupid as the JPZ IV and the Su-85m in BR III or the MKB 42 in BR III and that it’s for riflemen HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
