Make MKb 42(H) great again

maybe because once DF put a proper AR in BR IV everyone will demand proper AR in BR IV

Well, if there are other weapons with comparable power, this should be considered, yes.

tried that one out - Its got more power than STG for sure, just lower magazine cap. what do you think?

Ok, give Federov bayonet as well then

What does it being open bolt have to do with it…? IRL it has some downsides if you’re not used to it but other than that, what?

→ Paddle mag release reload
→ no paddle mag release
I hate it so much

Single fire accuracy - as in the first shot after a trigger pull being not instantly

Dark Force response?

Except the game doesn’t really model that…

yes - but since this mechanical detail would result in less accuracy, it should as well in the game

So one of the reasons why it’s worse is because of a mechanic that you wish was in the game… That’s just putting the cart in front of the horse innit?

No this mechanic is already in the game - indirectly, because WW2 SMGs and MGs are mostly open bolt guns already. They are kind of less accurate than semi autos, select fire rifles and assault rifles already which are mostly closed bolt guns.

Dualwielding??

probably means taking 2 guns on back instead of using a backpack

More BR4 ARs would be more, help grow Axis here in to actual thing.

These exist for MP43 and Stg as well, infact adding a MP43 GL variant would give some top tier options to Axis players . I dont know if Mkb42h would be a value add here to be honest

what is available for others

our scout made a whole topic on the forum with explanations)))
I still hope to see it in the game)

Well yeah, the fedorov was clearly designed with the capability of equipping a bayonet of the old ww1 era variety (although admittedly I’ve even seen pictures of these things being equipped with what looks like jap sword bayonets and some other types so it really is dealer’s choice with which type it equips)

although admittedly this thing should’ve never been made an assault rifle since it was always intended to fulfill the kind of role a BAR was made for
