Make M2 Carbine assaulter weapon

This gun does not compare statistically to other select-fire rifles of America or other nations (AVT40/AVS36, T20/T20E1, FG42/2, Type Hei Auto)
Moving this weapon in the tech tree behind the Thompson 50 round would fit thematically and give assaulters for USA a viable Assault Rifle weapon (In my opinion, SMGs are rarely worth using in BR5)
Statistically this weapon compares pretty well to assault rifles in the game, such as STG-44, AS-44
M2 Carbine / STG44 / AS-44
Damage: 8.8 / 9.6 / 9.6
ROF: 750 / 650 / 660
Mag size: 30 / 30 / 30
Reload speed: 2.8 / 2.6 / 2.7
Vertical Recoil: 14 / 10 / 10

Lastly, even the M2A1 Carbine is an Assaulter only weapon

People (like me) who own 20+ max upgraded M2 carbine wouldn’t be happy with the change, since I need 9 assaulter weapons for my US BR5 line up at most.
Make it so assaulters can also use it like VG1-5.

Yea I’ve been in favor of this for a while. It’ll stop German mains from complaining about the M2 carbine, and it’ll stop US mains from complaining about not having a top end AR.

Devs don’t have plans to move M2 Carbine

I would not have a problem with letting the assaulters have it as an option to the Thompson, but I like it where it is. I mostly use T20’s but I have a couple squads that use the M2’s, and I use M2’s as backup weapons to my radiomen as their primary weapon is the T20.

Moving to only Assaulter would be a bad idea. They should be just included into the list of Assaulter weapons. If you remove them from Radioman you wouldn’t have any other competitive weapon to fill their 2nd slot.
