After update Tigers of Burma, Soviet got Tu-2S with 3 gunner can use by player but for Ju-188 only 1 gunner can use by player even there 3 other gunner which should be usable by the players. .
even for Tu-2S gunner under plane can use by player in Ju-188 it can’t, since in the first place release until now how many years that passed and not have fix or update for that gunner but for Soviet they do it straight away
not to mention the problem Ju-188 can’t shoot offensively in front not like tu-2s
so Ju-188 need buff in defensive, I mean they have 4 gunner its defensive capabilities should be better.

Anyway, when the developers added the option for players to control the rear gunners. We were told that with future updates, it will be possible to control all other gunners in planes that have them.
So what you described, has been in the plans since they added the ability to control rear gunners. It’s just obvious that it wasn’t much of a priority.
So it’s only logical that they would develop new planes with mechanics that are already planned to be in game.
