Make friends if you want the best experience

I’ve been playing this game for months and I have quite an affection for this game. I see a lot of posts about balance but I suggest playing all sides in all campaigns to have a clear understanding what toys we are given and how unique they all are. If you want to see the game at it’s best, make friends and play together with them. Not only will you have a new perspective on campaign balance but you will have additional insight how to help your team in random solo games. I agree not every side is equal at the same level but that is a great trait of this game and closer somewhat to the war in which they represent. DF could have gone the Battlefield route but I’m happy this is not battlefield or CoD. I hope some players find this post useful from a veteran of war FPS games, this is after all a PVP game

Playing with friends makes everything better.

I’m a very aggressive player, and tend overextend a fair bit and die a lot, but also get a lot of cap progress and force enemies back. My friend is a more tactical player who focuses on flanks and cutting off enemy reinforcements. Together I get caught out far less, and he gets overrun far less. Makes the game a ton more enjoyable to know someone’s watching your back, and to be able to share in the struggle.

Frankly I don’t know how people can stand to play pvp team games like this solo all the time. Its just sorta, soul destroying after awhile, no matter the game.

I play mostly alone.

I m used to it. But indeed game it’s way more fun and rewarding with people around us.

Sadly I didn’t found a nice group on proper timezone to play with.

The “lobby” system is godawful with no ability to chat within the game.

its called having an “self punishment mentality” and being stubborn at the same time like me xD I never give up and having bad experience or being stomped at with odds against… actually can make me perform better

Yea only if the grind wasnt so brutal my friends might have kept playing for a bit longer than a few days

I play with friends most of the time, having friends in my game doesn’t make me any less pissed when a p47 kills my entire squad exactly 0.2 seconds after spawning or having impenetrable jumbos sat 19 miles back lobbing HE

What timezone you in? I could use someone helping me grind Berlin Axis because I´m having no luck with randoms so far.

Spent whole night getting utterly destroyed as allies in berlin. Not even remotely fun or competetive. Multiple tanks camping just outside grey, spawn killing. Whole axis teams attacking the allies 1st spawn point all matches. Close to DELETING the game.

Unfortunaly thats what happens in most matches. Devs started ‘balance’ berlin cause axis lost too much.

Typically axis didnt even bother to defend objectives but instead tried to attack soviet spawn point so even 1 player with engineer could just flank and build rally, after that objectives was captured pretty quickly cause there was no defenders near it. So devs increased cap times for soviets and now if first push fails it typically just spawn r*pe at first cap

Too bad same kind ‘balancing’ start appear in moscow too, and allies are getting less reinforcements and increased cap times while axis get increased reinforcements and decreased cap times in exactly same maps

While many start off really enjoying Enlisted, however, many find the grind tiresome and the cost if paying is extreme for some, it seems that if another similar game comes along, Enlisted will suffer because there is no community where relationships and team play is encouraged. Thus, thousands of solo players will leave for the next new war PVP/fps game. So yeah playing with others/friends would be great. However, there are no systems in place to encourage developing teams or forming groups for playing together. Maybe, it’s something planned for post-beta? I know I would enjoy Enlisted more, knowing some online friends will be ready to lock n load and kick some virtual ass when available to play Enlisted.

There is a friend system and voice chat for squad play. As this game continues to evolve I’m confident more tools will be given to facilitate making friends and squads but like the saying goes “You can lead a horse to the water but you can’t make him drink”.
