Make engineer tutorial REQUIRED for new players. Learn to build Rally points

Almost every single game that I play I am the only person putting up rally points. Idk if its that players just don’t want to put up rally points or they don’t know how.

Putting in the required engineer tutorial will at least help reduce the number of players that don’t know how to put them up.

Even AI have been adjusted to put up rally points (though they aren’t very good), so there is obviously a known problem about this on the developer’s end. A mandatory tutorial could help.

  • Please note that while a tutorial already exists, many new players don’t know where to find it. I ran into a guy yesterday that had been playing for a week or so but had no clue where to see the tutorials.

  1. That only lasts as long as the event though.
  2. It still doesn’t help the players that don’t know how to build them in the first place!

People just don’t want to take the time to build them because they don’t feel an insentive to or are just lazy.

The only reason why people are building more rallies now is because of the event.

Even I don’t build rallies every match, only if its needed. If the enemy team is like 1 guy, and my team is full of players then I usually don’t build rallies. No point, enemy team is gonna lose anyway, would rather let others build and just push the objective.

I don’t think it’s a matter of them not knowing. Also if people want to learn, they’ll do that even without structured tutorials. From my point of view rally points are terribly implemented here.

They aren’t particularly rewarding to use and are open to spawn camping when anything is done wrong (including the most annoying kind that is done by mining the point). At the same time they are absolutely mandatory to have in large numbers if you want to win an even fight. That doesn’t not sound like a good system.

Maybe it’s better to remove them altogether, it’s not like they are needed for the game to be playable.

wow bro not cool, probably because all run with 100% stamina, and don’t need it true.

They need to drastically increase the XP you get from engineer structures, especially rallies.

Amen, and i am not even religious, though do have some morals. :stuck_out_tongue:

Another tryharder is unable to comprehend laziness of casuals. He is actually so naive thinking tutorial will help, that’s even more hilarious.

I’m a lazy casual.
I build rallies

I think it should be nerfed, game outcome is too random bcs of it

I’ve been looking at some topics here and there, and I notice pretty much all your comments are ****

yes, even better: the game needs to tell you at the start that you should build one for EVERY objective and give you a reminder mid-game if you haven’t. this is the only way to make those lazy fucks (can’t call them any differently) build them.

I hate current state of rally points, there’s almost no alternatives once your team doesn’t build any. Rally points should be rewarded if placed in a great spot, not if placed at all. It’s one of my biggest issues for enlisted.

And maybe the time needed to be set … a bit long imo

we just need the order for AI engineer to build rally points, maybe squal leader who would put blueprints but couldn’t build it himself. It would be really great, the worst part with rally points it’s that it pulls you away from action for a while and it sucks. I know it’s possible to order to another engineer while being engineer yourself but this is just too unconvinient and i would like to see something more convinient. This game is much arcade and i want arcade mechanics if we’re going this road.

mobile respawn beacons as APC trucks would do the thing much better as well.
