Britain deserves to be its own nation, there’s plenty of British’s thing in the game to make on and plenty American things to then fill in the gaps in the American tech tree. Britain can be in matches along side America in Tunisia and other missions, that way they still play together but they’re their own tech tree, all premium squads that use British stuff (ex. Churchill) will be changed to British and put in the new British nation. Britain honestly has just about as much stuff as Japan (if not more) so it should be its own nation. I think Britain deserves this as they did fight decently long in WW2 along side the Americans and I think this new nation would do just fine, and since they did borrow a lot of American things, gaps on the British tech tree can just be lend lease American things, like how the soviets have German AT weapons and every nations final AT weapon is German.

Plus I have no clue why would they come up with option to change nationality if something like British/Italian TTs were planned.
I still think they should as these are their own nations and deserve to be represented separately from their allies.
I would much rather appreciate one big western allies TT. It makes much more sense than several seperated tech trees with copypasted stuff.
Same goes for European Axis TT.
Interesting idea, but they would need 3 of each soldier type for all factions, which I think would take more effort than what the devs are capable of.
Britain just doesn’t have enough stuff for high BR equipment, it will be like Japan all over again except that Japan can’t reasonably be combined with some other faction.
would also be a ton of silver unless you can transfer but would you limit the guns? bp as well? Cool but never going to happen.
Well, unless the British are going to use solely use UK weaponry, is there really a reason to separate them from the current Allied faction? I can see maybe if the Dev’s created some new map battles that were taken from actual UK vs Germany battles, otherwise what would be the need if you can dress your Allied squads in UK Attire and give them UK weapons as it is? I think this would be cool, “IF” some new maps and British/German exclusive battles were incorporated into the game, however unless there are major changes then there really is no reason as that further divides the player base.
Not gonna happen as it would split playerbase more and they have already added ability to switch soldier nationality. They just need to add more British tanks/planes and guns to a TT and not be lazy.

I’m just happy to bump this to promote discussion, the Commonwealth needs some way to make them feel seperate from the rest of the US tree, but that doesn’t have to mean as a seperate faction entierly (though I’m not opposed to it, but it is a less popular option, I’m happy to compromise here).
The current compromise just doesn’t cut it, the Commonwealth is severely underrepresented in terms of squads, weapons and vehicles, there’s so much stuff yet to be added, but no incentive to do so because the US lower BRs are already quite well filled tactically speaking.
After soldier nationality customization, the next logical step is to return legacy squads for F2P players (I’d prefer the option to just straight up buy then for silver, gambling is horrible), then we could actually field a full Commonwealth line up. Next is adding the missing weapons and vehicles to round out the British to really make them viable as their own thing if you don’t want to mix weaponry/vehicles.
Not all nation need high br tho, the devs for some reason just insist on making everything have BR5. Tbh Japan should have BR3 at the highest.
Well the devs’ actions with Japan has shown that, yes, all factions are to go to max BR.
It wouldn’t have to. Just create a separate TT for UK and put UK/US in the same matches against the Axis.
But you are right that they probably won’t 
because as you pointed out, why then would they add the option to change nationality? Maybe a temporary fix to highly demanded feature? I’m hopeful they will add a British TT but not counting on it.
Part of me thinks they will have to eventually as there is only so much content they can add with the game set up the way it is now.

The game is already capable of doing this too. You can have multiple nations in one team in custom matches. It shouldn’t be too hard to add.
#enlisted devs stop being lazy
Honestly I’d be fine with an ”arcade” mode where every faction is put on a random team like WarThunder. Then have a “historical” mode where you can play in a more historically match with all factions participating in their respective theater of war.
I know the historical accuracy nuts will have an aneurysm but this is a video game and I think it has great mechanics that would make it the best first person shooter, but I feel like the devs are really limited by historical accuracy, and the WW2 time period.
Mixed battles sounds like an awful idea (no offense) but I think they wouldn’t do as well as most people in enlisted don’t wanna go against their own technology. In WT I honestly hate the mixed battles and wish I could just play Germany with other German mains. So while the idea can be good in concept, in practice it wouldn’t do so well.
Fair enough, but I think having the choice would be fun.
