Make BR1 - BR4 more authentic to WW2

Lmao

Let’s watch the official Enlisted BRs explanation video?

“The higher the BR the more modern the equipment in the context of WW2”

"Your BR symbolises the time period when the weapons in the hands of your soldiers were actually used "

“And of course your opponents will be historically accurate

Ooof

Maybe y’all zoomer toktokers want the game to be the crouch sliding dolphin diving paradise and don’t care about the setting.

But clearly we, the OBT/CBT OGs came to this game for WW2, and we loved it not for “belens” but for MP 3008 and Pz IV J in Berlin and Carcano and Beretta in Tunisia.

Time to take your Jumbo and M3A1 out of Normandy and BR4-5 stuff ofc, while Super Pershing will be allowed to only spawn once per match and only on Bulge map. Also all your experimental American and Soviet guns, tanks and planes will be removed starting from tomorrow. PPSH-41 drum at BR5 will be replaced with box version as it was more cost effective and less faulty, but you can spawn one drum per squad as they still had spare mags. While Germany At BR5 will have squads with 9x STG44, jets, Tigers of all kind, Ferdinands and MG42 250 with additional bot loader (FG42 will be removed and only used by paratroopers, AVT-40/AVS-36/T20/M2 Carbine turned into gold order weapons, Hei automatic removed from the game)

Are you happy now with your Historical Accuracy?

Yeah sure Gaijin. While in reality as BR5 it was Stalingrad 40% of the time for GER/USSR

Well not for me, I’ve quit 100% of high BR Stalingrad games until today.

However, that Gaijin video aged like milk indeed lol now that you get T-28s invading Berlin

I’d like if this game was a little more historical but I accept it is what it is

I have my own little immersion bubble. Sure there are King Tigers and Maus rolling around North Africa but all I care is my loadout is chronologically correct for the map. Even my own rule isn’t 101% historically accurate. The FG 42 may have entered service in 1943 but it didn’t arrive in time for Tunisia. But like I said I keep it simple just by going by year and its the best I can do

Honestly, I think BR3 is probably the “best” representation of WW2. You got run of the mill tanks like Panzer IVs, Shermans and early model T-34s. Standard model planes like the 109 and P38. Infantry guns are typically ones that were mass produced, like Garands, MP40s, Beretta M38s, BARs and MG34s. Every now and then you got BR4 kit dropping in like MG42s and Panthers/Tiger Is. It’s pretty chill overall.

And yes I agree with the suggestion by @GeneralBrus

I see 2 ways to do this:

Make Enlisted cold war, they obviously want to leave the WW2 setting behind anyways.

well i did that and it didint ended to good for me (i was using m1 garands cuz a mate asked me to play br 5 US where i have absoluty nothing lol)

well yes and no. yes for overall ww2, no for individual campaigns e.g. moscow where you didnt get panzer 4 with long 75mm gun.

It used to be before they did this cringe “test” where you take a M4 Sherman and get to fight Panthers in Tunisia, or take KV-1 and get T-28 and BT-7 alongside you in… Berlin.

I was thinking if this step is supposed to bring Enlisted closer to Warthunder - and ultimately merge the two games together, if this is even planned who knows… but yeah that would explain it quite a bit.

Well trash tanks fighting in Berlin hurts me less than time travelling Tiger II or even Jets in Moscow.

Sure KV2 fighting in Berlin is already crazy, since most get destroyed… even prior to Stalingrad if I had to guess.

The thing is, they really should consider turning BR5 specifically into a “what if the war continued” BR, they could even adjust early war maps to make them look a bit different - like as if a couple of years have passed and the war turned around, different tank wreckages, snow in Normandy some attempts at rebuiling destroyed cities etc.

BR5 could allow for alot of creativity - BUT the other BRs should stay very accurate to the actual war.

How exactly did this test change anything?

BR3 had all the maps in the mappool from day one of the merge.

well exactly this is the thing tho - nothing changed for BR3, but the other BRs have gotten out of touch.

Sure Panzer IV J feels bad for Moscow - but at least its not a Tiger II… well I know technically both tanks are 1944 vehicles, but at least it isnt as obvious.

guess I’ll be playing much more BR3 in the future.

Oh look at ya now comes the big mouth right?stop it! I didnt harm you but u try that at me

A lot has changed.

Before this genius “test” I was playing BR3 only quitting BR3-4 Stalingrad/Rzhev, but never had to deal with:

BR2-3 games with T-28 and T-50 in Berlin
BR3-4 games with T-34-85 and Tiger in Moscow
BR3-4 games with Panther and Sherman 76mm in Tunisia
