Or maybe you’ll get a BR6 for these kinds of toys, separate from other battle ratings?
Instead of making even more useless brs they should just make +0- matchmaker.
None of these saw a single second of WW2 action.
So I’m wholeheartedly hating on these.
“Balance” with stuff that wasn’t used in WW2 is not balance.
This.
It’s a non stop vicious cycle of “now faction X needs a counter for balance!”.
Why should players who want to enjoy actual, real WW2 items like PPSh 41 drum, IS-2, StG or Tiger 2 be forced to ±0 against fakes and prototypes?
Simply:
- move all the bullshit to BR6
- lock BR6 at ±0 MM
- open all maps and all factions Free for All for BR6 since those players don’t care about WW2 and think “fun” is “balance”, let them balancedly defend Stalingrad as Japanese from American invasion
It’s time to create two modes: a chop suey mode for all factions on all maps, but with ideal battle rating balance like in War Thunder, and an historical mode with map-matching gear. Then, both those who enjoy the fun and the atmosphere of World War II will be pleased.
Br exist to put weapons of similar power against eachother. They are not meant to make the game historical. Otherwise fedorov 1912, ppsh obrez and other low br “fakes” will go against as 44 and jet fighters. The devs constantly keep adding more prototypes and have no care for historical accuracy. They are not just gonna make a 180 turn all of a sudden.
In best case scenario the devs implement promised equipment selector in custom games for ha enjoyers.
Except the official Enlisted Channel videos on BRs states “BR symbolises time period”:
But I know what you mean and I’m not even talking about moving fakes like Fedorov 1912 to BR6 at this point.
Just the BR6 stuff that is very oppressive in terms of gameplay and doesn’t have anything to do with actual WW2 combat.
Soviet forces had exactly 0 of AS, AF, RPD or Su-9 during the Battle of Berlin but in Enlisted that’s exactly 100% of what you have to fight against.
And those items are very, very powerful.
The above-mentioned suggestion of mine is not a 180 turn at all, but rather a development of the BRs system.
Plus BR6 with ±0 MM and FFA would not only greatly please the “haha fun and balance” crowd, but would also completely unite the hands of the Devs as they would be free to add whatever BS there is: from T-44 100 to Maus, Ratte and Tsar Tank with PPSh 41 silenced since BR6 would be the “haha balance” BR.
We all know this is marketing lies. They also call enlisted historically accurate in the official site. The actual game is very different
Just like everything else in br 5. I get that some soviet stuff is better than the rest but it would make no sense putting them in some separate br while leaving powerful historical guns like stg 44 and me262 in br 5 to dominate. Ppsh 41 and svt 40 can hardly counter assault rifles
But not everything else is made up and has nothing to do with WW2.
Those would be nerfed of course, with a buff to PPSh/Tommy as well.
apparently not everyone…
either that, or this one is clueless since he joined in 2021.
which it’s funny, because unironically this one considered the event " historical accurate " too.
It’s second best AR in the game still. Dropping it a BR would be such an overkill
I’m mad that they didn’t keep the 570 RoF - it was near perfect back then
That doesnt matter and has never mattered to the devs.
I doubt they would do something this drastic. They can barely add few guns and bug fixes per major update with the current skeleton crew. Also imagine how bad japan would be. Fighting against shermans with ha-go and garands with arisaka
Obviously current devs won’t do anything beyond adding some more prototypes.
All I’m saying is there are (multiple) ways to please most (if not all) of the playerbase.
Realistically Japan should have always been BR1-3 max, I personally haven’t played Japan above BR3 ever I think.
Expecting WW2 Japan to 1:1 match USA who match StG, FG 42 and Tiger 2 was pure lunacy.
Probably yes but that didnt happen and now it is too late to go back.
The devs wont be changing anytime soon so we should expect to get t44 100 in br 5 at some point
I will not be surprised, obviously.
Just like Japan will get a magical origami assault rifle at some point.
Then Jagdtiger and IS-3 with American and Japanese fakes to counter it.
It’s a never ending cycle, indeed.
Unfortunately when WW2 prototypes and paper projects completely run dry, the game will be in a circus state.
That will probably never happen. There are still hundreds if not thousands left to add and with the current pace of adding things they should last for years. Not to mention they are already adding ww1 and pre ww2 weapons along with ww2 guns
Germany has definitely worse infantry power in BR2 - BR3, but BR2 vs BR2 tanks is quite balanced right now.
That being said, Soviets BR4 is no match for Panther, and IS2 is capable of dealing with Tiger B, but the big reload times cripples the tank alot - BUT Soviet infantry in BR5 is absolutely at the very least equal to Germany. AVT40 is absolutely amazing, not to mention soviet ARs are almost copys of STG stat wise, + RD44 is in my opinion the best weapon in the entire game, but luckily limited to MG gunners.
Also dont forget Soviet body armor on top of all this, it gives all Soviet weapons at least a damage drop advantage.
Germany did not have same amount of King Tiger tanks as USSR T-34s so yeah its balanced. Specially in Berlin there where like a dozen King Tigers left so it was very rear to find one and lets not start with the aviation. Really if we need to have realistic battle of Berlin soviets will have a lot of equipment while Germany will be very limited. Thats why red orchestra was very well balanced game since it was giving the attackers advantage in technology while the other faction was defending and it was easier for them.
Issue there is then you screw the US over. The easy solution is to make the SVT-38 use stripper clips.
This I dont get, I find the AVT or AVS better personally.
Adding the Tiger 2 H has been a disaster for the game, and its impacts will be felt forever.
Tiger II P should have been the maximum unlock - powerful gun, but 76mm and 85mm can still destroy it - that would have been the best balanced thing, regular Pershing, IS2 and Tiger II P seem all fair game to me, its just that Tiger II H specifically made alot of balancing difficult.
Indeed, the United States currently still lacks the 10-round magazine semi-automatic on the silver coin tech tree. But just like how the Soviet Union only recently provided the semi-automatic for the BR2, I think all of this is simply due to the extremely slow update speed of DF. Those good guns have already been placed in the gold coin team. If DF really plans to release it in the future, it should still be possible.
This is a bit too complicated. This should have been the responsibility of the logistics team. Or perhaps this game is inherently a fast-paced affair, and these aspects should have been simplified. Those that couldn’t be simplified were presented now. Continuing in this manner, if there were less than five magazines of ammunition left, wouldn’t it be necessary to create a separate action for inserting each round into the G41? Wait, all of these would require additional production of actions. Based on the current efficiency of DF’s current system, which can’t even keep up with regular updates, all of this we’re saying seems a bit absurd.
The AVS firing rate has been adjusted to 800, which is already quite powerful. The reason is that the magazine capacity is relatively small, only 15 rounds, which is five rounds less than 422. Therefore, the error rate is relatively low, and it is easy to miss one or two people, resulting in mistakes. So some players are considering bringing out something like the 20-round magazine or the 25-round magazine from the past. In the game, the combat distance between most infantry is actually around 10m to 20m. The controllability of AVT and 422 is actually quite similar. Think about it, when it comes to close combat. The one who is faster can better eliminate the enemy. The opposing team needs to prevent the opposing team from switching back to their previous weapon, so the gun with a faster speed is actually better. On the basis of both guns being excellent. Because both of these guns are easy to control.
Tiger 2 H The fact that the "Tiger 2 H " tank pushed him out was due to the inevitable course of events. No one could stop such a thing. Anyway, the German players who benefited from it were very happy. However, the good news is that the Allied forces still have at least 44-100 and 26E5 available.
