So BR4 never gets uptiered?

Sooner or later people will say “make BR4 only fight BR4, I’m tired of going against Tiger H1 and Panther G in my T-34-75 / Sherman 75”.

If you’re forcing to fight Tigers and Panthers with 75mm Sherman and 76mm T-34 instead of choosing literally any aircraft with at least 250 kg bomb then you deserve to lose buddy,

well same could be said for anything against BR5… you are contradicting yourself.

Personally I just wish they’d get rid of all the medium/heavy tanks. This is an FPS, not War Thunder. We can still have tanks with machine guns and HE, we just dont NEED Panthers and T 34 -85s or whatever.

I really liked the pre merge Pacific where most tanks were either the M13 or Ta se or light tanks like the Stuart and Ke Ni or Ha Go.
Now let’s face it. The main point of tanks in this game is anti infantry. So in the above case you had anti infantry capabilities, could shoot enemy vehicles, but also tanks were never invincible to infantry. It was a good balance.

Now in that instance I agree those particular Japanese tanks sucked and I also agree it depends on the faction and the BR.

But what myself and a number of others have suggested a few times now is more focus on non-tank vehicles, so AFVs, APCs, jeeps/car vehicles, specialist vehicles etc.

Instead of these big old tanks, why not more armoured cars instead? Id like to see more squads with vehicles included which would make the game more realistic to the Second World War, make movement around maps easier and also allow for more flanking and other interesting maneuvers.

Players could use the upgrades feature to upgrade their vehicles to have certain features and weapons. For example start off with unarmed M3 Halftrack, unlock and upgrade to .50 cal machine gun and then make it a mortar carrier. (note weapons would not be more powerful than mortars so you wouldnt be able to turn M3 Halftrack into an M3 GMC for example).

On the other hand a WC 52 (unarmed) able to upgrade (or a foldered new version) to a Fargo would be cool and would basically just be an AT gun that’s easier to move.
