There you can create a game with no BR restrictions.
Currently it’s not possible to create a custom game with more restrictive BRs (as far as I know).
So you going to customs is the best outcome as everybody can chose what he likes.

Sure, part of it is certainly a skill issue. But you can’t expect skill from new players. -
Most ppl here are veterans that grinded more or less equally. So they didn’t have to fight the best gear possible with only starter weapons.

And now new players don’t fight the big bad heavies. So what’s so bad about the current set up? The Panther’s and Jumbo’s and IS-1’s can’t hurt the new players anymore. They get the significantly more manageable 75 Sherman (no APCBC), T-34/KV-1, and what the Pz IV is the Kraut BR III? Or does it tap out at Pz III and Pz IV is, oddly enough, BR IV? Either way, super easy to beat both the III and the IV. Just the IV hits harder. Anyone coming from War Thunder can beat these tanks in their sleep. Anyone completely new to Gaijin, poor saps, can ask and any player can easily tell you the easiest and best ways to kill an enemy tank. There’s like 5 methods and one is clearly the worst and one is clearly the best. Lol
Actually they do. BR hasn’t changed much, at least in terms of tanks.

BR1-3: pz2 vs T-34
Seems similar. Except one is branded as balanced because reasons.
Oddly enough weapons are far more affected by BR despide being less problematic than tanks.
It’s funny you mention WT as it has more BRs than enlisted will ever do. And I doubt any average WT player will beat BR3 tank with BR1 tank in their sleep.
Anyway, this discussion is ultimately pointless as devs will do whatever they want.
It’s funny that you say that when in each X.0-X+1.0 BR range, there is a X.3 and X.7 inside that range. Almost like it’s a ±3 BR with extra steps (1.0, 1.3, 1.7, 2.0)
But, I am man enough to admit the flaw that Enlisted BR’s and War Thunder BR’s do not line up. Something that’s BR III in Enlisted can be like 4.7 in WT. Several BR V’s are over 6.0 (Pershing, Tiger II, etc)
I do think the game does have good balance. As is there should be a mix of I-III in Low Tier. Meaning there are potentially III tanks on both sides who can deal with each other, as well as some experienced pilots who can bomb the enemy tanks
But again, I’m “ok” with BR I becoming an isolated island so the newbies can have their safe space to learn the game. As long as all the rest remains the same, I’ll live and continue enjoying Enlisted

I too would like to see more equipment diversity. But imo it’s not really possible in current state of the game, at least if we want to keep it balanced.
This entire construct relies on both sides having same amount of vets which is currently not the case.
Why is it not possible? Can you at least pass on this feedback or acknowledge that BR 3 is a problem?

No, not everyone did fine in the old enlisted. The average player wouldn’t stick around and keep playing.
Let’s start up a custom lobby and I’ll take in my BR 5 squads and you can use your BR 1 squads. See how long you last when I’m dominating you. I guarantee you’ll rage quit within a single game.

i would honestly rather have underfilled lobbies than continue to suffer with terrible BR rankings
and besides, maybe fixing the BR matchmaking might actually draw in and retain more players?
Separating BR1, might help beginners to settle in.
I am not sure about BR3. For example I play Japanese BR3 now and when I get to BR5 the opposing team is too strong, but in low BR it is full of bots and boring.
We need more matchmakers and a thicker player base.

There was like 70k players confirmed during the zombies event. New players would probably stay too if they weren’t being dominated by BR 3 gear.
I don’t think anyone would mind waiting a little longer while searching for a match. They could always just add the option to join matches in progress.
Heck even before the merge pve was the prefered gameplay (i speak of stacking one side)
