Having a tier dedicated to semi auto rifles like the M1 Garand, G43, and SVT-40 would be an enjoyable middle ground between the bolt actions of BR2 and the assault rifles of BR5.
Additionally, many of the BR4 guns do not compete at all at BR5. Why would you ever use the ZH29 when the FG42 is in the same matchmaking tier?
As a result of BR4 being combined with BR5, an excessive amount of guns are made obsolete.
Matchmaking brackets that include BR 1-2, BR 3-4, and then finally BR5 by itself would allow 3 diverse experiences and would ultimately be the best solution for Enlisted’s BR problems.
I’m sure many people would be enjoy having BR3 be excluded from BR1 and BR5
Spot on! BR 3 is too powerful for BR 1-2 games but not powerful enough to compete in BR 5 games. BR 4 is also obsolete despite only being slightly more powerful than BR 3.

Playing anything with BR V is just awful to me. Most of your team dips before anything even happens and the enemy happens to have fully kitted out BR V soldiers, tanks and planes. You also get mowed down by one guy with an assault rifle because your bots are just following mindlessly.
It can, thought there’s many really potent tanks (like panthers, or t34-85 etc) powerful smgs (but some are over tiered. Many should be lowered from 5 to 4). Some of the best planes are br 4 (bf109 g10, most Japanese fighters…)
Sure, br5 got nasty sf rifles. But a g43 or svt40 in the hands of a good players can make do, etc.
But! It wouldn’t be a problem, because I wish for br +/-0 first and foremost
If you were to take a team of pure BR5 soviets and put them against a team of pure BR3 germans, assuming the skill level of each team are roughly equal, then BR5 would win every time
The only reason why BR3 or BR4 can compete with BR5 because of skill level disparities and teams often being a mash of different BRs
Almost nobody likes this. One of the most toxic things that can happen in today’s state of the game is to queue BR2 and match against a 4 stack of dudes with BR3 meta. It’s not impossible but it’s also not fun.
I probably prefer BRIII equipment over BR5 equipment for the US in terms of guns but I wouldn’t choose to run that against BR5 regularly (except a few squads like Colt Monitor).
That’s a crap match no matter how you look at it. It could be 4 sweat lords with BR I set ups forcing themselves into V and wrecking everyone also running BR I in their BR III+ set ups (I see Springfield’s in III-V way too much)
That’s why it has both I-III and III-V. Sometimes you get yourself a match that is like Pre Merge. Sometimes you sweat your balls off. It’s the beauty of BR III and why it’s the best BR hands down
