Make anti-aircraft guns more efficiency

Hi there,

Recently, an update add bombers. It’s pretty cool to add more feature to the sky.
The problem: it’s already hard to down a fight plane with the engineers anti aircraft gun, so bombers …

I suggest to rework this gun:

  • fastest rotations
  • can’t target ground (actually, people use it to kill infantry )
  • more ammunition (can down a plane without reloading, so plane fly await…)

Thanks.
Now go to the battleground soldier !

lol
Is this trolling? Anti-aircraft guns have already been made very strong, they have increased ammunition, reloading speed, firing angle up, turning barrels much faster. I still remember those times when it was impossible to replenish ammunition from anti-aircraft guns. P.S. Once I destroyed 14 planes from an anti-aircraft gun and never died.

And this guy shows how to destroy bombers in Stalingrad.

Can I?

SKILL ISSUE

At this point people should start requesting the devs add a CIWS into the game because that’s what AA guns will be if they keep buffing them.

umm-wait

Don’t use the lead indicator exactly. I spray all around the indicator and get far better luck than relying on useless hit markers for desynced planes.

Yes AA is good against aircraft now

Yeah, totally not a thing that happened IRL.

They were often used against ground targets, AA guns

Thank you for all this replies.
I will try the “spray all around the indicator” method and keep you informed.

See you in the battlefield.

There is way too much trolling in this thread.

If you play certain campaigns like Moscow Axis, you will in fact see that planes such as the IL2 can absorb the entire 80 rounds of the 20mm from the front and keep going. Situations such as these with certain planes with very bad hit models make it feel like AA needs to be buffed. Just play Moscow Axis, build an AA gun, shoot at an IL2 and he will always kill you with rockets no matter how many times you shoot him. I got lucky a few times and shot off the tail, however. But the cockpit and engine can seem invulnerable at times.

I dare someone to say that having a hard time shooting down planes with bugged hit models is a “skill issue”
