Make AI bayonet charge too

Simple idea, when player goes into bayonet charge and squad AI currently in following mode they should start charging to and pick closest target not targeted by the player.
I think it will add at least some sense for riflemen squad, since it basically becomes obsolete once you open machine-gun squad.

The squad equipped with AVS36/AVT40/M2/FG42/FG42-2 is the strongest squad in the game, far more powerful than the machine gun squad.

I love it, i stop to watch when this happens in game, and has me rofl, every time, a squad doing it would be just, have me in belly laughing so hard.

Would just run Infantry, load em up with stamina and overwhelm the enemy, when they running about, like Rambo ing everyone, on one toon. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nevertheless I think this feature whould be relevant, its pretty fun.
And I think it wont be imbalance since enemy AI usually does 360 no scope right to your face if you get close to them, so unless they are on reload it wont do anything significant.

Totally doable. They coded flamethrower AI to use their flamethrowers within a constant range value. Basically copy-paste job for bayonets too if within said constant range.

As long as there is an option to toggle this behaviour why not, sounds fun

If you can toggle it, hell yes. If not, my engineer is going to be very disappointed when my assaulter bros start trying to throw elbows instead of shooting
