Currently there is no clear difference between a frag grenade and a demolition charge, the only difference would be the distance one can be thrown and the speed at which it travels, but nothing more than that.
That is why I propose that, to make a difference, it will be the following.
All soldier classes will be able to use frag grenades, but only engineer and anti-tank class soldiers will be able to use demolition charges, I think that would be the fairest thing to start making a difference.
Regarding the smoke grenade, it is very undervalued, despite the fact that in current shooting games such as “CS:GO” the smoke grenade is essential to build a strategy or cover our movements, in enlisted it goes very unnoticed because the density of the smoke is not that high, you can see the soldiers inside these, currently it is not a reliable grenade, that’s why I propose to increase the density of the smoke, and that when we use the large grenade bags, yes or if we must carry a smoke grenade, with this function, the players would not be so dependent on a partner having to use the smoke artillery, since we could use a little more individual tactics with our squad, like a true sergeant.
Smokes with granade pouches are insanely good already.
Shame they will be so rare once they cost silver to get.
Not only that, demolition charge must have option to mount or stick on tanks, walls, doors cars or trucks for better effect when it is just for engineers or antitank squad. Throwing it is not 100% accurate and whit a little lag you miss the entire map.
They should nerf in some kind of way the det packs.
They are far more powerfull against infantry than nades. And nades cannot kill tank.
Most of people just spam the det pack on everytroops.
The difference is the range you can throw them i think. Im using smooke all the time depending on what squad im using. For ma Recon Assault Team its a must and some support teams just to help out friendlies advancement. But yeah the smooke grenade could get an little more radius
I do have tnt packs in Prety much everyone and I would like to use grenades on my soldiers but there is no point in doing so…
They should be changed to be planted on a tank and not yeeted close to a track just because.
Either have them as a plant type of explosive
Or limit them on eng and bombers.
So grenades can have a spot on this game.
Imo.
I just bought yesterday 48 x 8 explosion packs (technically about 15 per side that I was missing to reach 48) for my all campaigns and every side, don’t make me waste my bronze orders
I did bought some to fill 3 or 4 more squads of they release something interesting in normandy and berlin.
But would be cool if grenades had a place in the game and tnt weren’t as dominant as currently are…
Fast forward:
It’s later in 2022, players are more or less begrudgingly getting used to spend silver for any purchase… Except after newest players have depleted their silver stores to finally equip all their soldiers with those ever-useful detpacks, BAM! Devs announce “new and exciting mechanics that will bring more variety on the battlefield”, and all of a sudden, the meta shifts and people realize they’ve spent craploads of precious silver into equipment that’s now heavily restricted and/or doomed to uselessness…
That’s the world of a beta game.
Smoke grenades seem good to me as they are now.
I would like some smoke grenades also for mortars and for tanks (just a handful of them, perhaps 2 or 3).
That’s why AT grenades would be better, HEAT warhead would be easier to balance - penetrates armor, but deals less damage to infantry (and with the Haftholladung 3.5, another nice thing to have in game btw, can’t be used against infantry at all).
I think that if we implement sticky bombs, it should only work to destroy tank chains, since if those bombs were capable of destroying tanks, I imagine several people going to the forums to post topics like “OP sticky bombs” and things like that, although now that I think about it, it also occurred to me that if we throw a certain amount of Molotov cocktails (a quantity of 3) at the engine of a tank and the crew of the tank does not go down to extinguish the fire, after After a few seconds the tank ends up exploding, it would be good to add a better function to the Molotov cocktail and not just use it to block entrances.
