How many squad slots a player has in their roster determines the capability of a player to react to any given situation.
With the current system, f2p players do not have the flexibility to choose how to respond to what’s going on in the battlefield. Much moreso when their only vehicle slot is taken, so the only choice is to move to the next infantry squad, whether it’s equipped, leveled or even capable of dealing with the problem.
Leveling up a squad with a restricted roster, for example, means fighting opponents with undermanned and under-capable squads while taking up the same amount of tickets on spawning.
Yes, at least two more slots are needed, and I think an event slot could also be interesting, like the special premium slot, this could help diversify of guns in the game.
Agreed - having only 3 infantry squads is quite restricting, especially if you don’t have event squads. However I do think people who bought the slots with gold should have the 2 most expensive ones removed and refunded. Unless it’s just straight up adding 2 more squads.
Oh hello my friend, I think it’s the right of all players to be able to have at least four infantry squads and two armored squads, also I don’t think the extra slots are a disadvantage for anyone, no one hates more choices!
By the way, don’t worry, DF will never give anyone free slots, they are even stingier than EA!
personaly i don,t thick enlisted crew is that bad. they lowered prices and maded plus more and more Xp bonuses since the game has up. also they never has took off ANY, but ANY resource we achieved, like for exemple the legacy squads.
it still, free players need at least 2 slots, that are bought whit silver, even if it is expessive like 100k or 200k, maybe 50k and 100k if they generous, puting those ‘‘free’’ slots, will value a lot more the silver currency.
Yes I think these prices are fair, although I think 100k and 200k are too high! 50k and 100k are better and players can find more reasons to play! Both f2p and wallet Warriors.
i mean, think for a while, if 50k the frist slot, and 100k the second slot. it takes 150k to get more two slots, BUT. if you take 2 slot for the four countrys, you need 600k for all free slot, SOMEONE will sure buy silver using gold, and if someone buy by hard earn silver in the game, sure he is worty of this slots.
so it,s not a bad busines at all. also they might buy more gold to equip those squads.
Yes, 600,000 is a lot, especially for those who are just starting out in the game. I’m sure someone who finds it profitable to buy slots with gold will also find it profitable to buy silver with gold. Also, the game will lose fewer players, and attract more people. I’ve seen many people leave the game because of these restrictions. It’s important to remember that the game will die without f2p players.
I sure the DEV,s are quite generous. but another way is making a single silver unlocked single slot of 100k. may be not what we want, but it is what might happen.

But, how can Dark Force further exploit us in this FREE game if we don’t have to pay for it?
I bought up two or three slots for my German, Allies and Soviets because I decided after a couple years of paying for Premium and not getting really anything in return other then a smaller bank account, it was better to bite the bullet, pay for some slots and then start saving my money. I have these three factions maxed out, tech tree’s completed so there is no reason to keep forking out premium account money, especially since DF doesn’t seem to make changes people have been complaining about for years.
