Main menu UI suggestion

I find it very tedious to micromanage all squads after each battle to ensure you train all your soldiers.

The issues I have:

  • Multiple clicks between menus and squads to do the same task. (ie you need to open one squad, edit, close and open another squad and do the same edit)
  • No filters in reserve
  • You can’t move soldiers between squads without sending them to the reserve
  • No info in the academy where the soldiers are placed

This is my suggestion: a new squad menu that replaces the academy. All squads are accessible from the same page by scrolling horizontally. Soldiers can be dragged and dropped between squads, reserve and academy, and you can filter the reserve based on classes.

I am sure this suggestion can be improved further, but I think it will speed up the process compared to what we have today.

Support from me for the squad menu and filter.

They have done some welcomed improvements as you probably know but more could be done glad they tweaked it some. Now you can unload all of a units equipment or put a fresh guy into a squad and let him use all of the equipment the guy had that was in the squad remember the good ole days when ya could do neither of that.

Lot of thought given to your solution seems wonderful.

@703520 Oho, thats an awsome job, mate  Nice work!

If you ask me, Ithat design of yours, is much clear and managable for me.

You can’t move soldiers between squads without sending them to the reserve

I love especially this one  Mores smooth soldier manage between squad. I think the 90% of palyers use solder moving a lot. With these idea, we dont need to unequip/ or move here and there different squads anymore.

I just LOVE this! :+1: Soldier management definitely needs to be made as smooth as possible, and this is an excellent idea for UI layout.

Indeed, since in order to achieve the best efficiency in leveling up troops you need to keep a constant turnover. Pretty much after every single battle (unless it went really bad :stuck_out_tongue:) there’s at least someone who filled his current stars and needs to be replaced by someone else in need of XP.

Yeah  Is time consumeing, and sometimes make my eyes hurt, when i have to manage 6 squad with around more than 40 soldier, check their level–>send to academy—> level up again etc.
Fortunataly, after the last update, our soldiers are gave back their level, when they finsihed in Academy. With these “change” we don’t need to grind XP that mich

Agree, the changes they have made are very welcome.

I also saw the post in the developer Q&A where they said:

In the near future, or a little bit later, we will implement the following in Enlisted:… Improve the Academy interface, and in particular, add a link to the squad the soldier is assigned to…

I would also like to see the ability to leave squads that you are not using empty. I am OK with them taking up reserve slots. It will simplify the academy process if you don’t need to “replace” soldiers in squads when training them.

Lets hope for the best!

For the most part I have quit getting random soldiers tired of managing them …
